Not my favorite lineup but I haven't seen DCFC or TPS since like 08 so I'm fine with that. I've never seen CSS, the go team, be your own pet, or Broken Social Scene, so very happy with that. The rest of the lineup is filled with acts I like so the conflicts will inevitably be terrible but this will be a fun fill day of music no matter who you see.
Wary of going because the headliners are so mid, and I'm sure they'll once again put the acts I want to see the most/the only two acts I'd pay to see on their own on at exactly the same time for 30 minute sets.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 11/18 - Slowdive @ Brooklyn Paramount 11/21 - Caribou @ Avant Gardner 11/23 - LCD Soundsystem @ Knockdown Center 11/25 - TV on the Radio @ Webster Hall 12/5 - LCD Soundsystem @ Knockdown Center 12/7 - LCD Soundsystem @ Knockdown Center
if u like this lineup more than Coachella u might be washed sad to say
I accepted this when I opted for JLH instead of Coachella in 2019, and then again for every subsequent edition! I am washed! It should be a t-shirt! Washed Out should sell it as merch here just for the pun!
I'd be a lot more excited for this if Postal Service/Death Cab was not the headliner. I feel like nearly everyone who wanted to see them last year had ample opportunity to. Still might make the trip, because the undercard is very up my alley, but it would have been a much easier call with something a little more unique up top.
I will certainly be there. I just saw DCFC/TPS at the Bowl, so will most likely end the night at the second stage, which I presume will be TWOD into Phoenix.

Definitely agree with Phoenix closing the second stage, but TWOD at sunset on the main stage feels too perfect for them to pass up. Maybe I'll do mock set times like I did for last year (I got a good 80% of it right, so I'm feeling cocky!).

I don’t think I ever need to hear Transatlanticism live again, but I’ll always be down for a TPS show
That's so funny, I feel completely the opposite! I could listen to the Transatlanticism set a million times; it's Give Up that wore out its welcome for me when I saw it several times on the last tour.

Death Cab into Postal Service seems like a lock for last two acts on the main stage, given that that's how they've been doing the whole tour. I guess it's possible they put TWOD before DCFC on main, but then who do you think would go before Phoenix on the second stage? I guess maybe Miike Snow or Passion Pit? We'll see.

They didnt go back to back at Riot Fest. Death Cab, QOTSA and then then TPS followed. So the chance of Phoenix in between is high. I think people maybe are forgetting that Gossip is at the bottom with the Return and they either get a nice main stage slot or close second.

Made a hasty mock, it's off last year's template so obviously times will be a little off but I just don't have the energy to put in Mikey-level Coachella effort, you know? But I could generally see the breakdown going like this:
Are Broken Social Scene really that low in popularity now? I’m only basing this off the huge crowd they had at WWWY back in 2022 but didn’t think they were at the level of Washed Out now. Or maybe they’re washed out too.

BSS played Huh?
Yeah, that’s me getting them mixed up with Bright Eyes. Oops!
