Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I 've had two of the exact model in my tent the last two years. They aren't exactly world changing (not especially powerful), but they definitely increase the comfort level. The batteries last a Bonnaroo, they've proven durable, they stay where you put them (a very powerful magnet that's easy to pinch your finger in). It's a little hard to work with gravity to get it to point right at your head. Another plus is the fact that the blade is pretty soft so its no big deal if you accidently bump into it.
They don't negate the 9:30 am heat, but they certainly moderate it appreciably. A small, gentle little breeze isn't a lot but it certainly doesn't hurt.
I would replace mine in a heartbeat if one was broken.
I agree with Ka Mai especially about the pointing thing. They seem to pull the tent material forward a little and point downward if you're trying to get them facing you.
The biggest thing to control the heat is the sun baking your tent at 9:30. It just turns the thing into a hotbox, no matter how many screens you have on your tent.
The LED light is a nice addition. Definitely enough to see by in the dark. Plus it had two speeds, unlike several of the other fans.
I think I'm getting this one. My family and I used to go camping 3-4 times a year. We probably have one and I just don't remember. We apparently have a portable shower that I never knew about...

i was originally going to buy the Coleman tent fan from Campmor, but I looked at the battery powered fan at walmart that takes batteries, and it was the same price so I bought it.....it has 2 speeds and really works fairly well! SHould be enough to keep me and my girlfriend semi-cool.
