2021 year with Charli and St Vinny was great. Love to see it has been expanded to 2-day now; not sure if I'm going for full pass or Sunday only, but this lineup is beautiful.

Was going to mock you boomers for being afraid of a crowd at a Lana Del Rey/Boygenius show, then I remembered there was almost a crowd crush at Sharon Van Etten at Primavera last year
so is this thing seated? and if so is it for both stages or just one?
not seated except in the pavilion (thats seated and covered), which is only by the main stage. GA tix are standing/dancing room only, and the second stage doesn't have a pavilion at all

If you are trying to get to the headliner on the main stage after seeing the last band on the small stage, you pretty much have to go VIP so you're guaranteed a seat. The crowd for Lorde last year after Bleachers was insane.
I'm hoping they make the Chrysallis stage (second stage) a lot better. Weird sloping field and you can't really see anything unless you're right at the front. Now that this is two days with a stacked lineup Merriweater/ATG can invest in that.

yeah it really depends on what your priority is between the top two names; i went in 2021 and Charli was my absolute #1 priority, so i left St Vinny early to get a decent spot for Charli and was fine to be far away for HAIM (actually didn't end up staying for much of HAIM anyway lol). at fests you often have to leave a set early or be OK with being further away for one in order to prioritize your top act.
this year I'm guessing Boygenius will be on the Chrysallis stage before Lana on main, and i am happy to watch Lana from the field - she'll sound great from there and i dont need to be super up close, and i know i wont want to leave BG early. but for those who want to have an amazing spot for Lana, yeah you won't be able to see all of BG.

I got from Charli to the floor for Haim pretty easily with pavilion tickets and didn’t leave Charli early. Obviously Lorde/Lana are much bigger than Haim so your mileage may vary

oh well then that would be amazing for my purposes. i'll catch muna at roo, so thats an easy skip to get a good spot for BG and stay there for Lana

The last two years they did this at Merriweather both of the top two acts for the day were on the main. With that being said I think Carly will be on the side stage.
