i could write a thesis on this probably, but my main viewpoint is that there is no such thing as a humble celebrity/millionaire (soon to be billionaire). someone who is "destined for stardom from a young age" is not humble. you don't put art out there because you're humble.
for example, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) is 1 hour and 44 minutes long with six songs from the Vault. her next re-release, 1989, is reported to have NINE songs from the vault. being humble would require you to edit a little bit and realize not everything needs to be out there. being humble doesn't encourage you to remix the song 6 times and encourage fans to BUY it. idk. i understand the fan base loves it and eats it up, but let's be honest and admit Taylor is a calculated businesswoman who is not humble. and that's not a bad thing. it's just such a weird thing to say to someone in a stadium full of 80,000 fans that is going to earn $13 million that night lol.
while calculated and meant to make money, let's not forget that she is releasing these versions because she has been blackballed from receiving her masters and wants to make the songs hers again. sure there have been other people in the situation that haven't cared to do it like this, but it doesn't make Taylor a villain
i'm not here to argue this or that about what Taylor is or isn't but she gets overly scrutinized by people who don't like her and i just don't really get it

i think you're misunderstanding my point. i'm not coming here as someone who doesn't like her; all i'm saying is it's wildly hilarious to call someone humble when there are a whole host of other adjectives to use. it's like he panicked and spit that one out lol.

yeah, i get where you're coming from. i guess my point is that her redoing the albums shouldn't be the thing that invalidates her being called humble is all lol

Interesting 🤔 Take this with a grain of salt. The Saints are away Oct 6-8 and 13-15. I took a look at the Panthers and Ravens schedules, and they both have 3 week gaps in early/mid October

Joy 7/28: Justice 7/31: Romy 8/2: The Marias? 8/18: Mitski? 8/19: Taylor Swift 8/23: Crumb? 8/29: Pearl Jam? 9/5: L'Impératrice 9/7: Bruce Springsteen? 9/12: Pearl Jam? 9/23: Khruangbin 9/26: Charli XCX/Troye Sivan? 9/28-9/29: All Things Go 9/30: Vampire Weekend

want to try for the NOLA shows. not a big taylor swift guy but i am a big live music guy and feel like i need to see this show.
having said that, i looked at aftermarket prices for current shows. i am fully aware this tour is one of the highest demand tours of all time, but WOW aftermarket prices are mind boggling. thousands of dollars. makes what i paid for Adele Vegas tickets look like chump change.

Question: you basically have to just pick one date and go for it, correct? With everything selling out so quickly seems like there’s no way to try multiple dates

The registration asked me if there was another date that I was interested in and confirmed me for both. It only gave options for the same city though.
