Hey guys, my first trip to 'roo this year. I may be flying solo, depends on if others plans work out or not, but i have a few questions.
-if you bring alcohol (not bottles) and you are a minor, will they check? -do the alcohol vendors card? or check very well? -someone PM me about the drug avail. (i know they arent supposed to be discussed directly on the boards) -i noticed the tickets are pretty nice looking usually, do they actually take your ticket at the gate, or just check it?

I dont know if the vendors card or not, i never got carded last year and i had just turned 21. I wouldnt worry about being carded at the gates just dont bring glass and nitrous tanks and you'll be ok. Your ticket gets scanned at the gate and you keep it and wear a wristband.
I'm gonna be a roo rookie too. I have a feeling there will be a LOT of us rookies there this year simply because of the lineup. Lucky for us, we have plenty of veterans here at inforoo who are willing to share their wisdom
Yeah I'm gonna say as long as you don't look overly young I doubt you would be carded going in. I get carded everywhere (and I'm almost 25) and they didn't utter a word about ID... they seem way more concerned with moving people along as quickly as possible, checking that everyone in your car has tickets, and checking for bottles and nitrous tanks.
Inside, I never bought alcohol cause we brought our own and I'm not a big beer drinker, but my friend did a few times and wasn't carded. And if you were rejected by official vendors theres always the numerous ones selling mixed drinks and stuff in the campsites, although I'm 99% it just wouldn't be an issue at all.
