i couldn't get a message through on the bonnaroo site, so i hope someone can help me. can i use my rv pass to park a pick-up truck? i'd like to camp but would prefer a little more room. also, does the rule state no glass at all allowed? can i keep glass bottles in my truck or tent? thanks for any info
I think they have a pretty strict definiton of what they consider an RV to be. I think it's something along the lines of needing to be bigger then a Conversion Van (hold more people) to be considered an RV.
Two years ago I was in an RV parked literally 2 minutes away from the Bonnaroo arch going into Centeroo. Last year I was in an RV about 10-15 minutes from Centeroo. If you're in an RV you most likely will be parked a reasonable distance from Centeroo. After all, they don't want to inconvenience the customers who most obviously have money.
I think worst case scenario is a 15 minute walk, which is really nothing at all compared to BFE's 30 to 45 minute walk.
Does anyone know with an RV if it pays off to get there any earlier? We'll probably be arriving in the wee hours of Thursday morning between 5 and 8 AM.

There are people who come in Wed or Thurs morning, generally using the Bushy Branch Rd. and have gotten the RV spots across from VIP. However that RV Lot is rather large and its basically luck, you could end up really close or really far, depends on how full the lot is when you get there.
