Anyone planning on using a camp shower? I've got a Coleman shower and shower curtain set-up but it needs to hang on a tree or something. Chances are i won't be near a tree, so I may need to rig something.
Will the water be too much for my camp neighbors? I don't want to make the ground all muddy, ya know?
I'm bringing a solar shower and a privacy tent myself. However, the privacy tent I bought is self-standing. I also bought a small portable outdoor potty for those late night nature calls.
Because my privacy tent is completely enclosed, the ground outside shouldn't be affected by campers around me - I hope. I don't know how other campers would feel about yours, but if I was your neighbor, I wouldn't mind.
I am bringing a Zodi, gas heated shower, and a shower tent this year...We used it last year with a home made shower tent, that did not work that well, this year I bought a real shower tent....I cannot wait to use it with heated water....It really makes it comfortable when you can come back all spent and be able to freshen up..plus when you come home late at night you can shower and then get a cool relaxing rest

I just picked up a camp shower today. I was so giddy, knowing the roo is just a couple weeks away. From my past roo experience, it shouldn't cause such a ruckus with the neighbors - and you can always trade showers for beer
What's wrong with a girl wanting to keep clean over the weekend?
Trust me, I'm no newbie to camping. But I live here in Tennessee. And I know how hot it gets in June. Showering before bed is going to help me get to sleep much easier.
I was thinking about trying one of those battery powered ones that run out of a bucket... maybe a solar would be fine. Is anyone bringing a shower tent to the tents only area? rob
hey man, I'm a dude, but there's nothing like a little shower before passing out, especially after a long day of heat. i have been a camper for about 15 years and, as you get older, you learn that you can add a little luxury and comfort with little effort. i am going solo myself. hopefully, i'll end up next to neighbors as cool as moonsky.
moonsky - is your privacy tent strong enough to hold your solar shower?
that battery powered deals out of a bucket seem like a better option in a roo situation. i live in miami, and i've used my solar shower in the backyard many times after hurricanes have knocked out power for weeks at a time in the past couple of years. global warming is a bitch.
