Hey I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it... any of you ladies have success bringing a portable flatiron to Roo? The first time I heard of someone doing that I thought, "good lord who would bother!", but now that I have short bangs again, the answer is ME! I would totally bother now!! If you have any success or failure stories, or good brands to recommend, I'd love to hear em....
Hola! I haven't used a flatiron at Bonnaroo, but I did have shorter bangs one year. Also, I'm naturally curly, so I had to take care of that business some how. Here's my crazy ass method-
After I washed (as much as one can at Bonnaroo) my hair : I brushed them pushed back with a gel that contained no-alcohol bobby pinned them to my head covered with a bandana/headband while I ate breakfast
They were halfway decent after like 10 minutes. No poodle face for me.
Old Navy has some cute dresses. I will have to look at them!
Be careful with the zippers on those dresses...I just ordered the strapless green eyelet dress to wear at roo and the zipper was broken when I got it. I've read reviews on their site that says other people had the same issue. I am sad because it's an adorable dress and looked pretty on me, but with a broken zipper....I guess I'll just have to go back to Soul Flower.
If the zipper was un-stitched or ripped out they are easy to re-sew in.
In other news, have y'all seen that shimmer body art junk on TV? I'm oddly tempted to buy it so I can do some Roo body art. Thoughts? I could probably just replicate it with a stencil, some false lash adhesive and the shimmer glitter from Sally's. www.shimmerbodyart.com/?MID=2685378

I love this! The false eyelash adhesive idea is great, unless you can find one of those As Seen On TV stores. What's really needed is glow in the dark glitter. Definitely needed

I totally agree with that! 2 years ago we took glow in the dark body paint. It did glow a little, but we happened to find out it definitely showed under blacklight from the silent disco. Now glitter that glows in the dark, I'm down.

Went to torrid the other day. They have some cute high wasted shorts. Would look super cute tucked into a tank with a fedora! Cute for a night show. I feel like I'll be changing like three times a day and showering at least twice. I can't Stand feeling gross.
I *think* Sally's has the glow glitter. As far as the As Seen on TV store...my 5 year old told me we can get the body glitter starter kit at Wal Mart. Obviously she needs less television in her life.

I wish it had been that easy! The zipper pull separated from both sides of the teeth and would NOT go back on. I am still sad about that dress!!!

now that is a good idea, and I never considered it....I REALLY like that dress and it's just waiting for me to return it...I think I like your option better!

Have any of you ladies ever ordered anything from Zulily? I thought it was just kids' stuff, but I joined and they actually have a few 'hippie clothes' sales for women almost every day. And they are CHEAP. Just wondering how bad the quality is....
