Hey girls! So, I have a question, I don't know if it's been addressed yet or not. I wanted to get a bikini top to wear under my clothes so I wouldn't have to wear a bra. I went to Target, but their sizes only went up to an XL, which was hardly big enough (I'm a large D). Does anyone know of a store that carries larger bikini tops? I'd rather not spend a lot of money because I won't be wearing it for anything else probably (I'm wayyy to fluffy for a bikini).

try old navy... they run up to a xxl in the bikini tops.
Tons of them! $3 each. Shipping for an order under $25 is $5.75. Shipping seems pricey in comparison to the cost of the item, but you'd have some pretty unique bandanas. Also, just found a special on the site where you get a free $3 or less bandana with any order of $10: www.bandanaworld.com/special.htm
^those are really cool!! i might have to check that place out!
so, i didn't get this specifically for bonnaroo, but i'll definitely be bringing it with me because it's not too big, but just big enough. plus, it's wilco! wilcoworld.net/store.html
anyways, i've been thinking a lot lately about stuff that i want to get for 'roo so that i can look cute! what can i say, i's like to look good because of all the cute guys that'll be there
Soo... I just got the new UO catalog, along with Lands End which had some really cute shoes that may (or may not be) be good for roo. Too bad the website wouldnt let me copy the pictures.
The clogs are save $2.50 when you buy 2 pairs, any style. I think I'm gonna get a pair of those and a pair of those Mary Jane Trekkers.
Not to rain on your parade (and someone who knows better than I do, definitely hop in here and tell me I'm wrong), but I tried on a pair of clogs which look similar to those in that they have a very short but definite back to them. Look at the pics with the foot in the shoe. It isn't actually a flat shoe. There is a short back area that goes up the back of your heel. The well looks deeper than with a croc, for comparison (which is why I spotted the difference). There was a lady next to me trying on the similar clogs at the same time as I was. Both of us put them on, looked at each other and took them off. Either the back needed to be higher or it needed to be lower. You get this weird feeling of being in a shoe that you're walking out of, because of how much of the back of the shoe slips against your heel. Looks very, very similar to those. But I could be wrong. Someone else who has tried them, jump in, by all means. Or do they have these at Sears, where you could try them on yourself?

i know this is random but just had to share. i'm obsessed with the victoria's secret lip plumpers. i'm not even sure if they work, but the tingle feeling is kind of addicting and i like the way it looks/feels.
speaking of, this is best one i've found. its kind of expensive, but it works so well!
I'm wearing that right now!! I must agree that it works the best out of all the other plumpers I tried. My friends make fun of my bc I have naturally big lips and I am always using lip plumper anyway.
i am a new poster, but have been lurking for awhile. i figured since i am snowed in i might as well make good use of my time .
this is by far my favorite thread. this will be my third year at bonnaroo. i have made it through both years without a real shower, just using water and soap and shampoo we have brought along. if you let the water set up in the sun it's warm and the bird bath way is still pretty refreshing. i usually just get the sample size soaps and shampoos something that smells really good. even though i'm not enjoying a real shower, the good smells makes me feel better!
Note to Self: Don't ever go to work and leave this board at home....... You will never catch up!
Welcome to the board Cass. You will enjoy it here. If you have any questions, fire away!

thanks for the welcome soulmate! i am happy to be hear officially . after reading through all the posts, i have to 100% agree on wearing the crocs for bonnaroo. my first year i had these really smooshy comfy nike flip flops, but i couldn't find them last year. so i bought a pair of the croc flip flops. this was a big mistake, they rubbed the skin raw between my toes. i had to bandage them up and by a paid of faux crocs clogs. best decision i ever made. plus our camp last year was a good forty minute walk to centeroo. i plan on buying a pair pretty kelly green crocs for this year. my feet have never been happier. even though the only time i wear them is bonnaroo and around the house.

For all the sewers out there, Joann's has fabric that is elasticized/smocked at the top. It comes in a sold jersey and printed cotton (woven). Very cute patterns and all you'd have to do is seam it and hem it and, voila, instant strapless sundress!
Thank you for the heads up! I love smocked top dresses and this may be my first sewing project karma to you! If it comes out looking decent I'll post a picture!

i just wanted to express my happiness of finnaly figuring out what I will do for the boob situation. Last year the bra really sucked. just too much fabric for me to handle and i cant go braless with these babies so i finnaly found thee right size halter bikini top/bra. woo hoo now i am completely ready for roo.
okayyyyy ladies, well this year will be my second bonnaroo... so i thought i would introduce myself to all of you and put my two cents into this thread!!! firstly, my name is carly (after carly simon, my dad was and still is this hugeee hippie) and i was wondering have any of you had your period at the roo?? i was thinking about that the other day and hope to be so lucky to avoid that... HOWEVER... on a somewhat unrelated but relevant note, do any of you use a divacup?? because i HIGHLY RECOMMEND with every fiber of my womanly body that you all check it out.... good for the environment, no leaks ever, super comfortable, its a win win, and ever since i started using mine i have to share with women everywhere... i found at bonnaroo last year i had a bit of chafing in essentially ALL my creases...but don't like to use baby powder which my friends used.... any suggestions?? thanks gals!!

i was *somewhat* lucky last year, i got my period on sunday night. but that meant i had horrible cramps all friggin weekend. i would have much rather dealt with the period thing and not had cramps, but hey, whatcha gonna do, right? i have heard really great things about the diva cup....i'm going to look into getting one of those! it sounds like a win win win! i have some discomfort w/ tampons occasionally, leakage is a huge problem since mine are really heavy, and i am very concerned about the environment, so i think this sounds like a great option.
oh, and about the chafing...i would say that you should try gold bond. it worked wonders for me last year. i also swear by dresses/skirts with cotton shorts underneath (i wore some lightweight bermuda shorts that i got at target, they are kinda a sweatpant material, last year, and it was fantastic--the only chafing i had was when i tried to go without them one late night.) if you are worried about putting gold bond on your body, i would try some of the burt's bees powder, that stuff looks pretty nice, but i haven't tried it myself.
p.s.-love the name! welcome to the boards, and karma! ;D

Hi girls. New to inforoo, been looking a lot, this this my 2nd Bonnaroo, my BF and I will be VIP again Wanted to ask, since the diva cup just came up, has anyone used one of those "female urination cones" that allow a girl to stand & pee?? I was just looking at the "p stlye" and thought that it would be a good buy for 'roo. But just seeing if anyone else has had good experiences with them??

Welcome! About the Diva Cup some of the other ladies spoke about it earlier on in the thread, they all seemed to like it. Doesn't it have a risk of bacteria since you do re-use it? I'm scared to death to get my period during Roo so I am going to go on birth control a.s.a.p that way I can monitor it and skip it if I need to. I use powder so i can't help you there, sorry I'm sure someone will have a answer for it though.
And then for all my Torrid-loving girls, I got a coupon in the mail last night that I wanted to share. $25 off $100 or more from 3/19 - 3/22. Code is Glam25. Enjoy!
Chafing: I'm going with the bike shorts made of wicking cloth option beneath my dress. Should be cool, comfy and non-chafing.
Rather than a divacup, I use Instead. Available in any drugstore, right next to the tampons. You get 12 in a package. They look like a diaphragm. Round, latex-free flexible plastic disc with a bendy yet rigid edge. A little more difficult to insert than a divacup, but the bonus is that you can still have sex with it in. The boyfriend says he doesn't even notice it's there, unless I tell him. They're pretty cool! I use one per cycle, emptying and washing as you would a divacup. One box lasts a year!

oh you're definitely getting karma for that torrid tidbit!! ;D
Thanks so much my bonnababes!!! you guys are the best already!!! i would agree that i really hope i dont get my period at roo, just because it would be a nuisance i think... about the diva cup carrying infection, since its medical grade silicone it doesn't pick up or carry any type of infection... one of my favourite things about it is that its really helped me see my period in a better light, not a huge hassle anymore... i've even started giving myself a red mani/pedi on my first day!!! the shorts under the dress are a really great idea!!! VIVA BONNAROO!!!
