Does anyone know this guy? If not, check him out, he needs to be at Roo, and he would be VERY well recieved. I talked with a guy from his label (Southern Records) and he said they tried to get him here this year, but Superfly didnt think many knew of him. So we should definitely change this, check out his album "ashes to dust", it is breathtaking to say the least. He plays solo, just him, his banjo, his boot stomping as his drum (he mics the stage!), and one amazing voice.
I agree he would be a great addition, but we don't have a whole lot of space left on the artist list. I can think of a ton of artists that I would rather see. Sure sonic youth was a good addition, but we need some earth shattering add ons.
