Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Best show I have ever seen was clinton and p-funk(the venue pulled the plug and told them to stop playing because it was getting too late) and I am one of those "jamband" fans
I think they would have been added in the last round but who knows Superfly has obviously showed we don't know what we are talking about.
Well, Pearl Jam announced their 2nd leg today. And there is a big gap in the middle of June which stills leaves open the possibility for Bonnaroo. Also on the Tom Petty website it says more dates with Pearl Jam are to be announced next week. I'm guessing that we get artist additions sometime next week.

Just to add some fuel to the pearl jam rumours.
Pearl Jam are also playing the Leeds and Reading festivals this august. This at least means they've decided to play general admission festival shows again.

If they're serious about playing fests again, 'roo is probably their best bet at avoiding the tragic events that occured at their last fest appearance.
If pearl jam played before radiohead that would make it even harder for me to get upfront. I dont care though, even if i have to camp right in front of the stage im going to be right dead in front of the stage for radiohead.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I saw this on jambands.com, and I thought it would be perfect for Bonnaroo:
The Zappa Family Trust has confirmed the U.S. Dates of its Tour de Frank. Dweezil Zappa will be joined by Steve Vai, Terry Bozzio, Napoleon Murphy Brock and many others in what is billed as “the first OFFICIAL presentation of Frank Zappa Music since the Composer himself departed for his final tour in 1993.
Also, I was checking out their tour dates, and it is very feasible that it could happen, they play one show in Toronto on Friday the 16th, and then they don't have a show until June 21st.
Zappa playing Zappa possibly at Bonnaroo? Man, I hope so.
And for those wanting Pearl Jam history info: At the Danish "Rokslide" festival 9 people were killed in a trampling as Pearl Jam's set began. The band was devastated and have invested tons of money and time into the families and causes after that. They swore off festivals because of what the promoters couldn't guarantee. Now I am VERY surprised they are doing Reading/Leeds because it tends to be much more like other European festivals, but I could see Roo being their first festival because of the vibe and the low-stress involved with it, to break them into the groove again.
I would be shocked and overjoyed if PJ announces. Initially I dismissed any chance of PJ playing bonnaroo, figuring they would require a headline slot. But, upon reflection I realized that if PJ is touring with Petty, they would be in the habit of opening for Petty. Perhaps Saturday's mainstage will look a lot like the Petty tour for the summer. It would make sense, if Tom is going out there, the rest of the tour may well follow.
As long as we're tossing around people who have off around Bonnaroo . . .
Ben Harper - I know we've talked about him before, some have said his tour dates make it look unlikely; but I think the opposite. He's in Japan until June 9th, then appears in Europe on the 22nd. What else is he going to do but come home?
The White Stripes - They went abroad a few months now, Jack got married and the like . . . taking a few months off, place their reemergence somewhere around Bonnaroo. And I now this is a stretch, but they recently updated their website (for the first time in like a year), revamped everything and cleared out all their old tour dates, with a message which says "Please stayed tuned to this page, as tour information is updated often" . . . I doubt they'd put that if they didn't have some kind of shows coming. OK, mostly its just a wish.
Grey Boy All-Stars - Anybody know where these guys are going to be? I know they have at least one festival one their schedule . . .
The Shins - Their playing Sasquatch a few weeks before hand and don't have a show after that wil July.
I dunno, these are all artists whom I saw in early line-up rumors and I still hold hope for.
greyboy look free between wakarusa and all good festival so who knows (pleeease superfly, with a cherry on top), and the raconteurs (jack whites new band) could be possible, they're playin lolla, and it seems like lolla and roo already share like 20 bands between them. they would be cool too.

i am by no means a big aerosmith fan, but i have seen them a couple times and they are a good time. I think they would be pretty fun at a festival like this.. but there is ZERO chance they would ever do it. i was just throwing it out there
If pearl jam played before radiohead that would make it even harder for me to get upfront. I dont care though, even if i have to camp right in front of the stage im going to be right dead in front of the stage for radiohead.
haha, you and the 20,000 other die-hard radiohead fans thatll be there. Good luck though, I'll be in the same boat.
Anybody else hear about the Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa/Steve Vai/other former players from Zappa's 82 group tour? Here it is www.zappa.com/cheezoid/whatsnew/zpz/index.html. anyway, you may notice a convienent little gap around the bonnaroo dates between Toronto and AZ. Maybe its just wishful thinking, but if they stopped at roo, even w/ Frank gone, it would be an amazing musical experience. Anyone else hopin for this?
