to me the only really difficult conflict so far is my morning jacket and umphreys/disco at the same time... but at least they are really really long sets so i can probably see both....

Wow. Is it just me or is everyone else TOTALLY underwhelmed by the Saturday late nights?
I'm plenty whelmed! (Maybe not OVER but definately not UNDER!). Between the Superjam, Dr. John, and the Bindlestaff Cirkus (From what i've heard Dresden Dolls put on a good show too) there will be plenty to see. I dont know about Sasha though. Anybody else know him?
I'd say it depends on who is in the SuperJam, but yeah a little underwhelming so far. Is there a way to find out who is in the SuperJam, and/or is there a chance something is added to Saturday night?
Looks like there were no additional additions, unless I missed something. I guess Lady Sovereign will probably pop up during the Streets set sometime. That Saturday 5-8 slot is brutal, but I knew Saturday was going to kill me anyways. Now I can just stay up front for Beck and get even closer for Radiohead with the rest of the Infoheads.
personally, yeah i have to say i'm underwhelmed by saturday night as well... but i'm happy about that, kind of a relief... i can finally relax a bit that night and just wander around and discover something new...

It sure does look brutal. I didn't even look to the left and notice that Beck is at the same time too. That makes all 5 of those bands on my high priority list! Gaahhhh!!
oooh yeah good i can get there kinda early for radiohead... i've seen beck a couple times already so i might have to go to blues traveler instead, or at least for part of their set...
I printed out the schedule and comparing the cafe stages to the main stages, it looks like a lot of conflict acts like Oysterhead/RRFB are playing a second time on the cafe stages (Robert Randolph, moe, disco biscuits, buddy guy, umphrey's mcgee, etc.). Is this something they do every year?

As I read through the Saturday schedule my thought was definitely "Who is left for late night?". Of course it all depends on who the super-jam is. I can't even think of who to speculate it will be with all of the NOLA stuff explicitly in another tent.
Interesting to note that the Preservation Hall tent isn't even listed here.

Sasha is REALLY good trance, there's gunna be some spun monkeys at this super latenight set... Check him out, he'll be the only one playing... Between him and Superjam im pretty content with Sat. night... Plus im curious about this Dr. John thing so it should be fun... Friday late-night will be INSANE and Sunday will be one long day in front of the main stage for me, gunna have to save energy for that...
Medeski Martin and Wood vs. Les Claypool is a bummer, Robert Randolph vs. Oysterhead is a bummer but i'll see him at Wakarusa and everyone knows Oysterhead is the place to be during that time slot...
All in all its a GREAT schedual, i think they really laid out Friday the best they could, MMJ/Hip Hop/UmBisco for late night shows is a good move IMO...

And to add the the frustration of Saturday 5-8, Bisco will be playing a set on Sonic Stage at 6:00. I think i might just buy myself some sweet A/V equipment and set up cameras and mics at every stage and watch/listen to them simultaneously with 55" plasmas.....I wish.

I was checking that out too, UM has a slot too but they're only a half hour... Is it just an interview slot??

Doubtful. It says interview only for Les' Sonic Stage, so I assume it would say that for UM. They are acoustic sets i think, they are all just half an hour.

Last year those slots were acoustic or interviews/signings.... when you get to roo the schedule is up at that tent each day as to which it's gonna be
sasha should be quite interesting as a late night act, but it will be electronic dance music through and through. i'm interested to see the new setup he's using, but again, that's the music tech geek in me.
if you're on the jam band only kick, probably not exciting, but i know i'm pretty thrilled to see this set. one of the better respected dj's in the world thrown into roo as an added bonus
i've got some older sasha tracks on vinyl that i could record digitally if anyone wants to hear. it'll probably not be what he'll perform though as he seems to have gone more downtempo focused on recent albums.
And this schedule came out much earlier than I was expecting.
It hasn't "come out". The page still hasn't been officially published. I found it last night when I was poking around with various bonnaroo.com addresses. You can't get to it from the main page, you have to link to it directly.
I'd say they will give the "official" announcement later this week, if not today.
GET OUT! you are super amazing for finding it then and get a ka-jillion karma points
