i THINK im going to be forced to catch the first few minutse of Blues Traveler, just to say i saw them, run over to MMW, catch them for 30 minutes to an hour, sprint over to Les and catch most of his show. 4 of the bands which i originally put on my top 10 list are all playing. I had to cut out Cypress because i've seen them alraedy, adn even though they put on a great show, i'd rather see the people I haven't seen. Blues Traveler I wanted to see more because I didn't expect to ever even get the opportunity to see them, I'm not a HUGE fan of theirs, though i would've liked to catch them. MMW and Les are two of my favorite current artists, so its a very difficult situation for me

Beck. Quick campsite break b/t Beck & Radiohead (assuming we're close enough to centeroo), and then again after Radiohead, and then the all-nite extravaganza begins.
mmw. im not missing it with scofiedl in the area. i wannaw see beck but there will be plsenty off oppurtunity to see him alot in the future.. not to mention that i think his set has a chance of being really dissapointing. i hope to catch the end of cypress hill after mmw

There are MUCH better opportunity to see MMW all the time, dude. They tour much more than Beck, in much more of the US. BUT there is the Sco factor....
When they put out that new album, they'll probably tour on it together, though.

Well I'm just spoiled...I'm seeing beck tonight at the Fillmore (capacity of 1200) and Les Claypool next Wednesday at the Warfield. So I'm going with Medeski Martin and Wood for Bonnaroo as I'm sure they have a few tricks up their sleeves
I'll probably start with Blues Traveler. I've never seen them and have always wanted to. Then maybe head over to MMW and see what kinda funk they're throwin down. If it's good I'll stay, if I'm not feeling it, it's over to the end of the Beck set.

I really can't decide between Beck and MMW. I'll be seeing Les, Buckethead, Bernie Worrell back to back at Waka, hopefully a bucket of bernie brains reunion. Saw Blues Traveler at Red Rocks a couple of years ago. I like Beck's music and I've heard his live shows are great and he doesnt tour the US too often. But I have a feeling MMW's set will be intimate with all of the other shows going on and has the potential to be really sick.

well it sounds to me like beck pretty much play his songs like they are on the albums. i have alos heard some bad reviews that he wastes alot of time doing gimmicky things with gameboys and what not. i really want to see him but i have a feeling that a beck show is a beck show. normally i would agree with you and go to beck. but with scofield and dj logic in the house this is one of the top oppurtunities to see mmw ever

Oi..this is very hard for me. I love Beck...but I have been neglecting MMW when I have a chance to see them. I am sticking with my guns right now and seeing a full set of Beck.
I fought long and hard with tis decision, but I'm going to go see MMW. I like Beck, but I'm not terribly familiar with his work post Odelay. I'm a huge MMW fan and have every album they've come out with, so I think i'll have a much better time at the MMW set, just because I'll know the music.
and, as I've said before, the possibility of DJ Logic or Sco sitting in makes me wet myself with glee

that Saturday just isn't fair. i've always wanted to see Blues Traveler(i've liked them for longer than any of these other acts), ........... i LOVE Cypress Hill, ................ Les deserves my worship (i'm not worthy),..... and the possibilty of SCO with MMW is mind-blowing. but i've seen MMW before, so maybe i can skip them. SO......i don't think i can leave Roo satisfied if i didn't see Beck. he better deliver.

I'm positive that about 70,000 other people are struggling with this as much as we are!
MMW is going to be soo hard to miss what with the Sco-factor...I'll probably end up hopping between Les and Cypress afterward
