I'm probably gonna see RR. I saw them a few years ago, and they really surprised me. I dont really keep up with their music so I'm hoping they've come out with some new good tunes recently

Placid,
I actually heard the complete opposite about CYHSY, that they put on a tremendous live show. All hearsay though. Haven't seen them myself.
I'll be seeing CYHSY > Rusted Root or Lewis Black, haven't decided yet. I've seen Costello before, and I like him a lot, but his live show stunk up the place.

iill be at CYHSY>Damien Marley.
all of my friends who have seen CYHSY have said they arent that impressive live. that disappoints me since i really like the album
i know..i have heard mixed reviews..some poeple cant stand Adam's? voice. it is probably hit and miss..but someone that saw them at Langerado said they were GREAT. so i dont know what to think..i am keeping an open mind cause i love the album too.
I am from Pittsburgh and know some of the members of Rusted Root....I see them a couple of times a year here.....I still will make my way over to say hello to them......If you never have seen them before, I highly recommend them
Remember, it isn't just Elvis Costello, it's Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint. Though they're touring together this summer, it is a limited time pairing, and I'll be going to this one.
I'll be seeing CYHSY/Damian Marley. as for CYHSY live show, they are good. but they play with no passion. everything sounds EXACTLY like the album, and although I love the album and enjoyed hearing it live, I felt like the guys need some more time on the road to really gather a stage presence. My roomate saw them a few months before I did, and said the same thing. no doubt that I'll still be there, hoping they've gotten a little more comfortable on stage.

Rusted Root for sure. Saw them most recently last November and they were excellent and the crowd never sat down. Their kind of music is made for festivals!
planning on catching the first half of rusted root and then heading over to gomez. i saw the last 20 minutes or so of gomez at the beale street music fest this year and have since really gotten into their new album.
I saw Rusted Root late last year and they pretty much sucked. I saw CYHSY on NYE at Irving Plaza and was pleasantly surprised. They rocked pretty hard. It was a very good show. You'll definitely find me over at Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint though. I think this could be a VERY sweet collaboration with some top-notch players and much passion. I'm pumped. And that's right after The Neville Brothers on the main stage. SATURDAY RULEZ AT BONNAROO!
I'm going with Elvis Costello for two reasons: 1. I've never seen him nor do I think I will ever be able to see him live in my neck o' the woods again. 2. He's the set before the set before Radiohead....Radiohead Junkie here...I'll be at that stage all damn day!
I really wish I had seen RR years ago but I never got to, so even though I haven't listened to any of their new stuff, I will have to check them out. Possibly just a half set deal or something depending.....ROOOO!
My plan is to catch CYHSY, then get a bite to eat/use the restroom before we head over to Costello.
Thus begins the main stage campout for Radiohead...
Oh, and when I saw CYHSY two months ago they put on a pretty good show. We got there before doors opened, and were front row and center. Regardless, they played pretty well and all (except Alec of course) looked like they were having fun. More than happy to try to catch them again.
