Did they do the artist signings previous years? I bought a poster and got as many as I could but I was a little angry that Blackicious and Sonic Youth, the two I wanted most, didn't show up (Sonic Youth's bus broke down and Blackalicious had a "toothache")
Did anyone wait in that massive line for Ben Folds' signature?

My friend waited for the Blackalicious and the Sonic Youth signings, and was pissed that Sonic Youth didn't show up. But he did get Atmosphere's autograph.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

We showed up for the Les signing at about 11:30 and were probably 15 people back. Things did get a little ugly when the started letting us in, quite a few people rushed the front and cut in - I thought this big dude by us was going to crack some skulls he was getting pretty hot. I couldn't believe the number of people there. I was going to show up for the Sonic Youth session, but figured I had spent enough time standing in line already - glad I didn't in the long run.

I waited through the BF line. My wife was really cool about keeping our one year old and letting me go party for the weekend...and it was the only thing she asked of me....and it moved fairly quickly.

I was also in the line for Ben Folds... the lady from Tower Records was saying it was the longest line for autographs up to that point in the weekend. It was definitely longer than any of the autograph lines I saw last year or at any other festival I have been to in recent years.
Chalice Signatures: World Party (all) Gomez (all) G Love Ben Folds Bobby Bare Jr. Mike Doughty Lewis Black
It helps to have a wife who will help. But really, here we have 80k people and I get to meet so many cool artists. Very chill.
Also... I was disappointed in Sonic Youth canceling, but I've waited a lot longer for no autograph at dozens of shows. And while Folds was long, it was still not as long as Herbie Hancock last year if I remember right.
