I have been listening to some of the songs on his myspace page and they sounded great. I thought maybe he was going for more of a mellow sound, but it is on par with the last cd..maybe a little better.What does everyone think of the new songs thus far?

So, i picked up the new CD last week and I like it as much as Guero. It has recieved mixed reviews, but I like to hear a variety of styles from Beck...plus I love it when he raps. My favorites right now are New Round, Cell Phone's Dead, Dark Star, We Dance Alone, and No Complaints.
One of the cool things he did for the cd was to let the fans make their own cover with stickers that are included. There are 4 sets from what I have been told.
Also, the CD comes with a DVD that has vids for every song from the CD. Devendra Banhart maks an appeance or two in the vids for those of you that are a fan of his.
i cannot get enough of this album, and i agree, the first 6 songs are amazing on this album. Ive listened to it everyday since ive gotten it. And then i go into the electric factory last night, and they are playing it before Trey came out, and during the set break
