Does anyone know if it is possible to get a recording of the Herbie hancock show with marcus miller from 05. It is very important, I wouldnt even mind paying for it. Thanks.

Hey there. If you don't know, last year when XM Radio did a full broadcast of several '05 shows (from soundboards, natch), some incredible person recorded them all and made digital boots. One of them was Herbie. The good news is that the sound quality of these are very good. The bad news is that they aren't true to the original-- the XM broadcast had them slightly edited, with whole or part of songs missing, and the tracklist rearranged as well. But, something is better than nothing. That's all to say that I have a copy of HHH05, and can get it to you if you want it. Just let me know.

Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention-- it's not a lossless quality. The original poster uploaded it as mp3 with 192kbps. Sorry, no FLAC exists. But if you're still interested, I think I can set it up for you via sendspace.com. I haven't used that site before, but it shouldn't be too hard to set up. I'll try to do it when I get home from work tomorrow.
BTW, here's the tracklist: 1. Watermelon Man 12:41 2. Safiatu>Frankenstein 15:21 3. applause 4. Butterfly 10:01 5. applause 6. Stitched Up 6:28 7. Spider 17:47 8. Chameleon 10:47 9. Hang Up Your Hang Ups 9:10 10. Band intros
wow, i just gave the show and listen just gives me proof to what I thought and that is that it totally blows any other show ive been to out of the water including clapton, allmond bros, phil lesh w/ scofield, mmw, dr john, buddy guy, wynton marsalis, radiohead, and many many others.
I only wish i could remember more details, and even though it annoying that some songs and appaluse are cut short, its still amazing to have.

I'm new as well, but I believe under a person's name, you click where it says "Exalt".
I loved this show, but only caught the first couple tunes (damn you, Herbie, for starting 25 minutes late!), before I headed over to Bela Fleck Acoustic Trio, which turned out to be my favorite show of last year. Just my luck that no recording of that show ever surfaced (even though I definitely saw mics there). I'm not one to complain at all for the wonderful, altruistic effort many tapers go through to spread music, but it seems as though every Bonnaroo fewer and fewer shows turn up afterwards. Makes me sad.
