I am seventeen years old and I am going to the roo. It seems like most of the members of this board are older people, considering they are talking about buying alcohol (which I wish I could) and checking the bonnaroo website in their office. Are their any teens out there as stoaked as I am for the roo? Who are you? Where are you?

cool, i'm 18 and flying in from Canada.
first roo as well. can't wait to see radiohead. wondering how hard it will be to buy beer at bonnaroo?... not to get trashed, but maybe just for sunday afternoon to relax in the nice weather we are going to have.
I am 17 and this'll be my third Roo. Steverbeaver, its not difficult to buy beer. The brew tent checks IDs most of the time but private vendors on Shakedown could care less how old you are. Its very relaxed and nonchalant.
There's usually a good amount of teenagers at bonnaroo, although most of them lean towards 18 or 19. I fall into that category, in fact June will be my last month as a teenager (I turn 20 in July). Phishdrum is right, the actual beer tents and stuff in centeroo will card you. However, there are other vendors, outside centeroo who will hook you up. Not to mention that there is always someone selling Jager-bombs or mixed drinks outside their tent. All else fails, just ask someone who looks over 21 to buy stuff for you, it shouldn't be hard to find someone who understands your plight and will help you out.
As long as you don't draw a whole load of attention to yourself (which is really pretty easy to do around Roo, no matter what your condition may be) you can pretty much do what you please when it comes to alcohol or whatever else your indulgence may be. My stepbrother was 17 at Roo 2004 and repeated attendance last year, he did just fine. Like it has been said, there are a fair amount of teenagers around. People are putting too much stock into the whole age thing. No one's really exaggerating when they talk about the strong unity that develops over the weekend. People are people at Roo and as far as I know -- you guys are poeple too, so you'll be just fine.
I'm a teenager too. I'm actually only 16, and this'll be my first time at Bonnaroo, and I'm really really really really really excited. I'm going with another 16 year older, one 18 year older, two 19 year olders, and one 21 year older .. so I'm guessing the ages there vary alot. It'll be a great time .. no matter how old you are
