In TN you have to look over 30 in order to not be IDed. It's like that in a lot of states including Washington. I don't see the harm in making it mandatory. It will piss a whole lot of old people off, but if it's mandatory people will get over it. Sorry kids, wait till your 21 then you won't have a problem with the law.

It appears you could move anywhere and lower your drinking age. We are the 2nd highest falling only behind parts of India. The average runs closer to 18.
Unfortunatly, Bangladesh was not listed in the report.

Yeah it doesnt make sense... and alot of people guess im 25 or 26 and i JUST turned 22... I bought beer underage when i had a full beard grown... Im a waiter and im super paranoid about liquor inspectors so i card like crazy, those guys are nuts up here, they f*cking hide in the bushes... You can get in DEEP sh*t for buying for minors up here too...
I get carded when I go to see R rated movies, alot of times. I've had people look at me, like they don't believe me, when I give them my ID and it says I'm 27. I guess that'll come in handy, on down the road.

Yeah I am 24 but I like like I am 19. It's always the Indian women who check me out and don't believe its really me on my ID or my real age. It gets old fast. But like you said Danbird, that'll come in handy when we are 40 and we get mistaken for 30 year olds by 25 year old girls.
The drinking age is absolutely ridiculous. So is the voting age - You can go off to a foreign land and die for your country at 17, but you can't have a voice in how the country is run, can't go into a bar and drink a beer, can't buy a pack of cigarettes or a skin book - it's absurd.
Luckily for me, most bars around military bases don't card, and any time I came home and got carded I would just show them my military ID and they would let me in.
