Anyone who thinks Kanye is not playing the main stage, especially after last night's Grammy awards, is still in a fugue from 'roo 07.
well considering the fact that no one plays on the main stage after the headliner, i can pretty much say that he wont be... unless of course they decide that this is the year they will use the main stage for a latenight
Where/when do y'all think DSO will play. For me it seems more than likely that DSO and Phil & Friend's will have sets that are separated by at least 48 hours. One or other could rip it up for a late night crowd. Personally, the DeadHead in me hopes Phil & Friend's close on Sunday and DSO gets a late night Friday slot.
DSO- Thursday night and Phil & Friends- Late Night Saturday. Book it.

I am sorry to lead you on. I have no official source and actually forgot which thread I was in. I thought I was in the rumors speculation thread. Mods can feel free to move this thread if they feel like it.
As to my post, I agree that they will space out the two bands as to not have a Dead overload. I think DSO is a great Thursday night band to get people feeling good. As for Phil, he has headlined in the past. The general thought is that he is not headlining this time. The way I see it is that a late night slot is almost as honored and respected as a headlining spot. Put it on the 2nd stage, and it is a pretty big deal. So, if you have to tell Phil that he is not headlining, at least give him a sweet spot late night on the 2nd stage. Just my thoughts. No hard evidence behind this at all.
Hey Guys (and gals) I want to keep this thread open for those who have info on dates. Speculations and what not should be discussed in the rumors thread. Thanx :-)

When does does the schedule usually come up? I dont really remember from last year if we had it for as while or if it appeared the week before or whatever. I do remember my heart sank a little when last years appeared, so many great shows all at the same time. Either way, Im anxiously awaiting the new additons, and the schedule even though I may be waiting a while ha!

If I'm not mistaken, usually about a month before. Maybe 3 weeks.

Source?
No source. I mistakingly posted this in this thread. I thought I was in the rumors/lineup thread. I don't want to attempt to pass this off as fact, so feel free to move/delete the post if you want to clean up this thread.

Again, this isn't a speculation thread. We're looking for confirmation, either on some website (preferably the artist's own) or other recognized publication. Unless you have something concrete to back it up, it won't be added to the unofficial schedule.

and by this, you'll get an idea of who might play in the same tents/stages
in the context of a "midnight ramble" does that mean Levon Helm is a latenight saturday night lock? or no... just wondering... i've never seen his shows... if it is an actual midnight ramble, he could have alot of guests like last years Mule set...
