Very nice pics man, im really excited about getting ALOT of pics thi summer with my new camera, i'll be posting them on the net when i get back from Wakarusa/Bonnaroo then i'll be adding 10k Lakes and Camp Bisco V later on... Im definately excited about getting some really good pics...
my dilemma is that I like old film cameras, as opposed to digital.. dunno, I just always liked the idea of develping my own negatives.. BUT it would be much, much MUCH easier to take and store pictures w/ a digital at Bonnaroo, not to mention easier to see if I got the shot I wanted and not waste film...
should I go with a new digital camera, or a new film one?
Digi. Hands down. It's great to have that digital zoom feature, especially when you can't get close, you can still get some good performance shots. Plus the storage is handy, plus you can keep taking shots until you get a good one, plus......
Here's some of mine. I know there's another thread with pictures, cause I already posted some of these, but I'm too lazy to find it.
I have been debating on bringing my digital camera or just buying a pack of disposable cameras. I would really hate to see something happen to the digital since we just got it around xmas last year. And the debate continues.......
I brought a disposable camera last year... cause my bag got soaked in the rain the camera got soaked and ruined. So I gave up on pictures and just had fun But I want to document it this year... but was worried about bringing/ruining my digital camera (a Canon Powershot sd20).... so I ordered a waterproof case from Amazon.com - Canon has them for lots of their cameras it seems, so maybe other camera companies do as well. It can actually go underwater so it will be perfect for when I go on a cruise and go diving in January, and it can get all muddy and rainy and I can still take pictures at roo
And rather than worrying about charging it throughout the weekend, I bought two extra generic batteries off ebay for about $3 each with shipping.
I looked at those cases. I have a cannon as well and the case is $175, not in the budget at this time. Although they do look good. I will keep shopping around and see if I can find a deal.
great pictures guys. last year all i had was my cell phone. this year i will be bringing a real camera. using a freezer bag is a good idea. im not sure of the difference in quality between film and digital but i would say digital for the ease of use.

oh man, $175 sucks... mine was around $65 I think. It was discounted on Amazon.com. I checked ebay as well and didn't have any luck, but the one for your particular camera could pop up at any time. Also maybe try the Amazon.com independent sellers.
