If the war is during Phil, it should start when the first chords of Tennesee Jed, I am assuming it is a given they will play that, big sing-a-long, with thousands of multi-colored tracers to make it that much more memorable.
Add me into the "Glowsticks + Radiohead = Bad Idea" club. There just isn't that "free jam" time to do it so it won't distract from awesomeness. But if you're dead set on it, Idioteque would be the song I think... maybe even just right at the beginning.

i'm sorry you all feel so negative about throwing glow rings. I look at it as a special way to celebrate the moment. I've been to plenty of shows where glow wars happen, and I never heard or noticed anyone not enjoying it. Some people ignore it, sure, but most everyone digs it. Am I that wrong? Even at previous Radiohead shows, people enjoyed the glow rings. Don't you think it probably looks really cool from the stage??? I would be so happy if I were an artist and fans spent more money than the ticket price to try to make the concert experience more special and exciting for everyone.
not saying I would not enjoy it.. because if it happend, I'll be the one throwing hundreds of em, going crazy, and having a great time.. but I would rather have it at a different show. a war at phil and friends would be GRATE!
Phil and Friends is a give in. That's why I think Radiohead is a good idea, cause it's not something that they see everyday. And to all you detractors, it's gonna be short, don't worry. It's not gonna "take away from the show" Just enjoy it. IT'S BONNAROO!!!

i'm in with at least 4-5 hundred glowrings. I'll throw them out as soon as i see someone take initiative.
well, it's definatly happening, I just feel bad that there are so many people who hate it on this board. Outside of this message board, I've never heard any major complaints from anyone. Comments are always positive...even at Radiohead concerts where glowrings are thrown.
so wait for the signal, then pass them out and toss em!

i don't mind the rings, throw a million of those! it's the idea of getting a hard stick of glow lodged into my head that doesn't sound too good

Just thought i'd say that glowsticks that are bought in bulk are small and very smooth. They don't hurt at all if they are lobbed at you. I've been smacked in the face by big swinging glowsticks many times and it doesn't even hurt that bad (maybe it does if you're sober) so don't worry.
i'm gonna make sure to stand clear of the crowd for this show! What if someone turns around and hits you with an elbow right into the eye socket. Dam i don't want to lose my vision.
wow, now that i think of it, i don't think im gonna go to the show at all. i can get injured in so many ways.
what the hell is up with all these glowstick/ring phobias.

The coolness is worth the pain imo
oh I know. I was laughing my ass off when it happened.. you just gotta expect it.

I don't want to have to expect it. I just want to see the show. I'm not trying to be a meanie, and I can seriously understand why some folks would want to do this. But, as stated before, if you're going to do it, use GLOW RINGS PLEASE!! I'm just asking that folks be kind and respect those who don't want to possibly get hurt. Not trying to be the bad guy here, guys, I promise.
So after it's all said and done.....anyone still think glowsticks were a bad idea? Cause I for one thought it made the show that much better. Who would've thought that Thom would join in on the fun. It seriously gave me chills when I was watching him dodging them and throwing them back. He looked like he was having a great time. Thank you to those that brought them. It was awesome.
I walked around on saturday night, sunday morning collecting all the glowsticks from the various stages and then tossing them in a rave at the other stage... people were even asking me if they could buy them off of me, I just gave them to 'em...
