Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Speaking of work, what do the people you work with think about you going to Bonnaroo? I've been piss-tested three times this year, so I have a pretty good idea what the people I work with think.
I'm a clerk for a solo lawyer. The first year I went ('04), I had just started working for her (like three weeks), so I just said I was going out of town. Last year, I said the same thing. Then, after I was back, I mentioned something about going, and she said, "If I had known that was where you were going, I would have asked you to bring me back a t-shirt." So, this year, I told her where I was going.
My work days aren't set, but I have 10 days of class between now and 'roo!
Today marked the day that i paid my rent---my last bill that i need to pay-----all the money i make the next 14 shifts in the next 12 days all are going to fuel the debauchery that is roo! My crappy day shift tomorrow is pegged as my gas money day. WOOFUCKINWHOO! Can I get a Yahoooo Bonarooooooo! The wait seemed so much harder a couple of months ago, the reality now makes it seem more real-time.

by a weird coincidence it came out in a conversation today with my boss that he and his two teenage sons had planned on attending this year, but couldn't because of some family logistics. i knew he was a good guy, but totally hadn't seen that one coming...

I told people at work that I was going to visit family out of state. The firm probably wouldn't appreciate that I was taking three work days to go chill out with a bunch of ne'r do wells, drink skunk can beer, and listen to noodle rock. J/k (Not about the out of state part, but about the illegitimacy of my company and the quality of the event).
I got fired yesterday, and thats the only reason i may now be able to go. I was a timeshare salesman and they have a strict policy about not taking any days off June-August, so now i have the time to go, but dont know if i will have the money. *continues to hope his ebay auctions will do well*
ahh i just realized that i will only have one paycheck between now and roo!!! i may have to get a family member to get my check and deposit it for me so i can afford some souvenieurs for them
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
"I got fired yesterday" it's wedding season, catering companies are desperate for warm bodies to do mindless work, not great money, not world changing work, but a couple of days of passing out food will pay enough to make the trip and at least eat while you are there, ebay will hopefully cover expenses
edited to add: i have no idea how make real quotes, can someone give me a crash course?

Click the icon in the upper right of the option bar on the message you're looking to quote. It'll bring up the response screen with the post all quoted and ready to rock.
Oh yeah, I sort of forgot about having to work this morning. Bah, I hate working Saturday mornings. It's only 3 and a half hours, but it's just the idea.

When you see something you want to quote and reply to, click the "quote" icon on the post and it will capture everything they said for you on a new page.
yeah, seconded! that is some real tough and demanding work, but thank you for making it your life, because it keeps accident prone people like me alive!
I could never be a firefighter.. I'm just not brave enough.. more power to you!

78.5 hours! I feel like I'm heading to Disney World, only better! (never been to Disney World, but there's no way it's better than this is going to be!)
7 more days for me! I'm nervous, though, because it was like pulling teeth to get my boss (and her bosses) to let me go. I'm a school secretary and I'm leaving the day after school's out. Apparently they don't know how to send report cards without me. So I have to prepare everything for them, as well as finishing all my other projects. This week I have to take care of all the end-of-the-year field trips/parties, tie up any loose ends, and make all the preparations for 8th grade graduation. It's gonna be crazy! Hopefully the craziness will make me feel like the week is going by faster!
