I will say expect rain, those storms come out of nowhere in TN like 2004, it went from sunny and hot to dark clouds almost like nightime in 20 minutes, then it poured so hard that you couldnt see 5 feet in front of you. However I did like that windstorm last year sunday morning.
I have yet to go to a festival that hasn't had some form of rain attached to it. It just comes with the territory, I guess.
I've been telling my buddy going with me that he needs to get waterproof gear, and he just keeps brushing it off like "oh, a little rain won't kill me.."
my reply is "yeah, a little rain won't kill you, but alot will make you f*ckin' miserable."

Okay, so when I see the miserable guy wearing the trash bag, I'll know he was warned ... and that it's okay to laugh and point. ;D
Well, last year I bought a couple of those 99cent plastic ponchos, those work great. It came in handy at the Allman Bros. last year, it was comin down pretty good at one point during their show . The thing I like is you can just keep it in your back pocket, just in case. See i dont mind getting a little wet, I just dont hate being soaked with water.
of course that whole katrina thing makes me think that it dosent effect the weather but it will overcome the weather. i know ill be front and center through any type of weather!

It will most definately shower everyday or at least most days... The big question is whether or not its going to rain all day, for multiple days, or even all weekend... The Wakarusa forcast is looking completely dry right now Roo' is still a bit too far off to trust a forcast though....
jis sitting here looking at accuweather and seeing rain forecast for the week of roo, and it dawned on me to check out the weekend before, as they moved it back a week this year and the forecast for that weekend is perfect comparitively... crap... jus have to wait and see.. btw the wind storm last year on sunday was the remnants of the first hurricane of the year.. tropical storm bt time was in tn.
yeah, I remember that wind storm. it almost blew away my shade tent. everyone around us was taking down all their tents and shit because of how windy it was. but other than that, it was a grate day.

No offense, but that "accu" weather forcast is about as reliable as a Yugo!
That's why it's called the FWIW weather forecast! Most predictions around here, whether it's for the weather, the late night superjam, grand marshall, late additions etc, are all about speculation and projection, and that's part of the fun of the run-up to Bonnaroo. The 15 day forecast changes every day. It's a magic eight ball - shake it and it changes.
lol... I think it's just an indicator that the weather in an unpredictable thing, and that no one can fully be 100% sure about what tomarrow is going to bring.
FWIW Weather Update. Manchester, TN Usual disclaimers. Subject to change. Don't like it? Wait a minute. Bring your mittens.
