I just saw a battery powered fan at Walgreens for 20 bucks. Its not a Coleman. Its some generic brand but its bigger than the colemans that i have seen.
That's exactly when I was napping too. Caught the end of Winwood and then passed out.
Pittbob,
Where'd you get those tent fans? I'm trying to find one myself.
I've posted it elsewhere, but seems relevant to the weather thread... especially with the latest forecasts.
We picked up 6 o2-cool brand fans (http://o2-cool.com)at Academy. I've heard others report finding them at Walmart as well. They're supposed to be carried at Sports Authority and a number of other stores (see website).
Still looking dry, but the heat and humidity are increasing for each day. Could it be possible to have a Roo without mud?
There really wasn't much in '02 or '03 by my memory. At least not from rain. Even in the driest conditions, the areas around the busier wash stations are muddy as hell by Sunday, so don't expect to keep your feet clean.
The best part about dry weather at Roo: you can plop down on the ground wherever you please without getting your butt wet.
The "Real Feel" on Accuweather is still lower than the actual temperature on Friday, which is nice. Looks like Sunday could be pretty killer, but I'd much rather have it that way than the hottest day on Friday (seems like the worst heat has been earlier in the weekend most years by my memory). Between not being quite well rested and some brutal sun the first three years, I've had a lot of energy sucked out of me on Bonnaroo Friday. For me I think Friday is the key day where some moderate weather would be nice. By Sunday I feel like we could handle anything for one more day.
