OHead will definitely rock multiple covers, since they don't have much material. From what someone said who went to a Q&A w/ Les at one of his Electric Apricot premieres, they aren't doing a new album or a tour, even though he'd like to. I think Stewart is way into the family/film scoring thing, and doesn't really wanna go out on the road again.
Mine are three I was lucky enough to see live. First is Nickel Creek last Nov. playing Britney Spears' "Toxic." While it may sound lame at first it was quite good with Chris Thile singing falsetto. Again with Nickel Creek, they did a great cover of "Subterranean Homesick Blues" backended with The Mario Bros. theme at a 2001 show. Finally, Blues Traveller and Carbon Leaf together did Zepplin's "Fool in the Rain." It was amazing, both of the enitre bands were out there (two drummers 3 guitars, etc...). John Popper didn't even sing he just played harmonica the whole time (odd since it was their encore), and the lead singer for Carbon Leaf (Barry) carried the whole thing perfectly. He's got a great strong voice. There isn't much I wouldn't do to get a recording of that performance.

kind of on topic... I just saw this band The Breakfast last night (I think they won a jammy for best new groove awhile back when they were The Pyschedelic Breakfast)... and they did some sweet ass covers of Karma Police (better than Moe.'s version), 50 Ways to Leave to Your Lover, and Hot For Teacher... it was a good time although I must say that my knock on The Breakfast is that they are trying to hard to be a "jamband" and aren't doing anything original

I saw Keller Williams do an accapella cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. It wasn't the best cover I've ever heard, but it certainly was the strangest/funnest cover I've ever heard.

the White Stripes do some of the best cover work out there.

But I think one of the best covers has to be the live version of Stop Breaking Down (robert johnson) that is the b-side to the Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground single.
well then there is the Beefhart covers China Pig and Party of Special Things to do. Those are pretty killer.
Wow you know what about the Jack White singing Jolene by Dolly Parton. Thats pretty intense.

Good one, but I loved Eddie Vedder doing Dylan's "Masters of War" at the 30th Anniversary Celebration. It got me listening to a lot of old Dylan stuff.
