that sucks.. I have yet to make it to sunday night at a roo. but this year, I have to stay even if I don't want to (not going home right after). but I really want to see phil anyway. but I can imagine the camps being a sad place "when the music's over.. turn out the lights"
ya its still a huge party on sunday. no saddness involved. the sad dosent hit me until i get far enough away that people dont know about bonnaroo and they all stare at you like your a filthy stinky hippy by choice. but its all good. id rather be a dirty stinky hippy then a fresh smelling yuppie going to work anyday
That is the worst part about it all is the end, they will start tearin down stuff just as soon as the last show starts. I remember right after Earl Scruggs last year As soon as I got out of the tent I turned around and looked at the stage again and they already had the lights and towers comin down.
in '04, I had to go back to work that monday night...i was completely wrecked, still, um, feeling the effects of sunday night ( ), and just overall unhappy because I was working when the night before I was partying.
I didnt even get home till 200 am tuesday morning. We got stuck in the killer traffic jam trying to get out of Roo in 04. We moved about 100 feet in 4 hours literally.
I got lucky as far as that went... I was really close to the I-24 exit and just kinda slipped out in about 30-45 minutes and was on the road home in no time.
