howdy! this will be my first year @ bonnaroo and i'm a nervous wreck. excited, but anxious as well. i was looking for someone to answer some specific questions, especially about the VIP camping.
any help would be really appreciated!
1. how many VIP tickets are sold? (i saw someone ask this in another thread but so far no answer.)
2. how far from the parking area is the VIP camp site? can you get back and forth to your vehicle easily? (just wondering if i can store extra gear in my trunk and how hard it will be to get to it during the festival)
3. how does the food situation work? is there 1 tent for food and what are the hours of operation?
4. are the showers easy to access? is there usually a line?
ok, any info and details would be wonderful. like i said, i am nervous, but mostly really excited!!!!
There is another one or two threads about VIP in the Logistics forum, but I'll answer here:

Not sure on this either, but a few thousand for sure

You camp right next to your car. So getting back and forth can be as easy as you want it to be. You'll be surprised how it's not always as easy as you think!
3. how does the food situation work? is there 1 tent for food and what are the hours of operation?
1 main tent that has the daily meals. There is a second tent that has snacks and beverages as well. Web site says hours are 11-9, but I'm thinking 11 - 11 is closer to what actually happens.
4. are the showers easy to access? is there usually a line?
It's all relative to where you are placed on arrival. Last year we were about 50-60yards from the showers. Certain times of the day there was a line, but a short wait for them. Last year the showers started out unisex, but by Friday afternoon maybe Saturday they had seperated mem from women. That created more lines as the individuals options then became limited.
Stalls that had a curtained "changing area" and then the shower. Everyone seemed to be really cool with it and respectful of each other (remember, you are with folks that paid $1200 for their tickets, not tour rats). One person must have said something and got it changed.
VIP bathrooms only in the VIP area. But nice -- in multiple small trailers (m/w) with 4-5 stalls in each, sort-of flushing port-o-lets. No smell, running water sinks.
And I think someone noted having VIP tix numbering almost 400 on the other string; I'm guessing that's at least 800 people in the VIP area.
