Gin and whiskey last night, then waking up on a friend's couch with no cell phone and a cigar and a receipt in my pocket. I always worry about my blackout nights, especially when I'm out spending money and don't remember any of it.

Last night I made apple pie "moonshine" to hand out as Christmas gifts. I'm not sure how much is going to be gifted considering I've drank one mason jar this evening and I'm contemplating cracking open another. McDonald's gift certificates are an acceptable replacement, right?

Usually add a few cinnamon sticks to my mason jars and let sit for a few weeks. Flavors definitely come together more with a good sit IMO.

I had planned on making it over a week ago but never got around to getting the supplies. Definitely added the cinnamon sticks to the jars and added a cup and a half spiced rum to the pot. I couldn't wait to try it out and it is delicious already. It's gonna be fantastic by New Years.
