i think im just gonna start calling the choclate treats with the pnutbutter eye wolverines. i dont see why i cant. ill bring the to ohio stae games and give them out to anyone willing to call them wolverines. and it will catch on. next thing you know the buckeye will be unheard of. it could work.
i used to get the taquitos that had deep frying instructions. but i havent had them in forever. my deep fryer oil needs changing and its a pain int he ass. im always using the hot sauce on those.

When i worked at a restaurant i deep fried them, and many other things. They were good like that, and a heck of a lot cheaper then the ones they sold there. One time i kept them in the cooks freezer, and they served mine instead of theirs.

wasn't the big thing last summer deep fried coca-cola? or was that just in The South....or maybe my deep fried imagination? I am still not sure how they accomplish deep frying a liquid. was there some sort of breading or something?
ya but there was no way that wasnt expected. so actaully ill concede 2 things to the bucks... tasty chocolate peanut butter treats, which im now refering to as wolverines, and basketball. but we will be back. i thought amacker was the man. but hes had enough time. it might be time to move on. or let him coach football. hed have to better then carr. shiz he probably do better then henne at qb i still blame steve fisher. he cost us 2 national chamionships and our entire basketball program. i just got back form the store a bit ago. i got brownies and peanutbutter chips but i have no motivation to make them
ya it can just go by whoever wins the game. but we need to find away to turn the eye into an "M" or else its still gonna look like a buckeye. i think instead of the chocolates i enjoyed last year to enhance the show ill bring some 'spiked' wolverines
I've never been on a Ferris Wheel before due to my fear of heights, but this year (if the opportunity is there again) I plan to take my first TRIP(not in general, been there many times) on one! Bonnaroo has to be beautiful at night from an elevated view point. That's my big mission for '07! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well i'm drinking this year, but years past i've done much much more. (Nothing against the law of course ) I've just decided to live a healthier life and i dont really want it to limit my future. I know it sounds corny since im only 17, but i feel that i had taken all that to the limit, and there was no place to go but down, so i stopped. But i definatly do not regret it, and luckily remember most of it all, an odd skill i possess, not always a good one, some things are better of forgotten. ;D
right on. all good reasons. beer will do. music and beer go well together. i wonder how many years im taking off of my life abusing my body at shows. excessive dancing, lack of sleep, sun exposure, smoking with every crazy hippie i meet, eating shakedown food, drinking and partying in the heat. its gotta be taking a toll. but oh well. im not too keen on getting old. i figure 60 is about right. maybe 70 as long as im healthy enough to dance and party im good to go. to borrow TickTrix quote thing.....
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Holy sh*t ... what a ride!"

Well i think im already past well preserved. I also think once i get my career started and such i'll get back into, but going backwards from nowhere, which is pretty much where i am now, would be a bad place to be. ;D And having done everything so much, i get a sort of contact high just being around people who are partaking. While most sober people dont like being around others under the influence i absolutely love it. Its a chance to just act ridiculous and silly, and i dont have to be on anything for that to come out in me. I think if anythings gonna kill me its the sun. I have naturally darker skin, which you couldnt tell in my picture, so i almost never burn. Because of this i never put on sunscreen either.
I dig it, Zig. I absolutely love to partake of all things Bonnaroo but, I understand and respect your restraint. Roo is the ONE (and only) time a year that I really let go and get to "celebrate". I look forward to it all year. While I appreciate your stance on "things", I'm not an advocate of abstinance or anything (not that you are, i know). I tend to go all-out (not overboard) at Roo and i think that it's the perect place to do so. It's my annual vacation from both work and reality. I think it's really commendable that you don't just attend for the easy, obvious reasons and I hope it works for you. Me? I attend the festival for the TOTAL experience...Music, People and Party. I, personally, feel like i've earned the right to really let-go once a year and I take full advantage of it. Whatever....I dig "it", you don't and that is refreshing to me. All to often, this board is flooded with people who are only concerned with certain aspects of Bonnaroo and I always welcome the opinions of people who are coming to Manchester for the party....not the "party". I just hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Peace!

I like your viewpoint. I've gone to ACL twice completely sober and loved it. I'll also agree about the heat, at ACL in 2005 it was 108 degrees on Sunday. I know for sure I took some time off my life that day.

They card younger people when they buy it (I am told I look 19, but I am 26), but I always bought 4 at a time for my whole group and they never asked to see additional ID's. It is only closely watched at the actual point of sale b/c they have to show some sort of "attempt".
That being siad, I wouldn't exactly walk right up to a mounty cop if I was still underage and had been drinking.

P.S. what happened to all of the drunk people posting their rambles? Let's get back to some real earth-moving topics like BBQ sauce vs. ketchup. I liked that one and was sad it died before I got to vote for BBQ sauce.
Fraggle Rock is the best work Jim Henson ever did. Man, Sprocket was always so close to catching those Fraggles...Good thing Travelling Matt sent all those postcards or they would know nothing of the human world.
