You know, this thread got me to finally quit crying and hit the message boards and see what everyone is saying...after reading all the theories I guess I have to admit that it's pretty genius that it can cause sooo many theories from people...but i will never forgive david chase for not letting me know FOR SURE if Tony is alive or dead.

Watching the first episode (I've seen the show....just seeing if I can stick with it for a re-watch). Love the part where Tony's mom says she won't answer the phone after dark. Once the sun goes down it's too dangerous to answer the phone. Haha.

"Pfffff I don't drive when they're predicting rain"
"Then kill me now. Go on now, go into the ham, and take the carving knife and stab me, here, here, now, please! It would hurt me less than what you just said."

It does feel weird knowing how heavy Tony will get later on. Weight-wise. Just because that's what happened in real life. But he is in way better shape early on.
Watching the sopranos from beginning to end is amazing! I watched the series on TV and then twice I've rewatched it. KushPicasso and I almost watched the whole series again a few months ago in just a few days lol huge sopranos fans.
Saw Pauly Walnuts at Whole Foods just a few weeks ago.
I ran into Gandolfini when I had a temp job on the Upper East Side. It was snowing and he looked exactly like the promotional poster from Season 6b. I had some kind of fanboy stroke and just froze starring at him like an asshole.
I'm not going to explane why I was there but I met Steve Schirripa at The Redneck Olympics in Georgia. He is hilarious.

That's awesome! Wish I met Gandolfini. I live in the area and shop at a lot of the places featured in the show. But iv only met Pauly and Bobby. I didn't even meet Bobby in jersey too. I was walking along the West Side Highway and just randomly saw him jogging and did a smile and nod type thing.

Carmella and the priest. Forgot that their wine night was so early as well. For some reason I thought the "Meadow checks out colleges while Tony thinks he sees an old associate" episode was way later.

"College" is one of my all time favorite episodes of television
Final episode got me twice. I was living about 2 blocks from Holsteins at the time and they parked the trailers on the side of my street so we had no place to park. There was a mob of people around the house for 2 days waiting for some action. The only thing that happened was occasionally a cast member would leave a trailer and an Escalade would take them 100 yards to Holsteins. The novelty wore off in about half hour and it was a major pain in the ass.

This show is absolutely hilarious. Paulie and Junior and Christopher all have so many amazingly funny lines. Junior especially....almost every time he speaks includes at least one line that makes me chuckle.
So brutal how Livia is to her kids. And Janice is on now and I absolutely hate her. I thought I couldn't hate someone more that Livia and here we go.
When he comes back from his father's funeral, he spells Meadow "Maedo" I think...I love that.
And yes, Junior is the best. When he's senile, this quote slays me: "How many of you know what bacala is? Of course you don't. Well, it's salted cod. We taught the world how to eat!"
He also has a line - "I'm waiting like patience on a monument" - that I have incorporated into my life.

I agree. I watched this show when it was on HBO and several times after. Season one is full of stuff that i always think happened later. A lot to process in this season.
