Ok.. So who here loves Waffle House? I swear one of the reasons I love Bonnaroo so much is because they don't have a Waffle House anywhere near Chicago.
Texas toast cheesesteak sandwich and those fvckin' hashbrowns? Man, I cannot wait.

I love Waflle House when I drive down south. I discovered it when I was 14 on a trip to Florida with my family, it's been a "Bonnaroo reoccurance" ever since.
I only pray they have the "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" promotion from last year still going on. I don't think the Kentucky locals take kindly to the infamous Roo Funk though.
No exageration, I eat at Waffle House once a week, I always ask the waitresses for those paper hats. Every once in a while you can get lucky and theyll give you a coffe cup. I hope there is one in Manchester.

I live in North Carolina, and it's a tradition with my friends and I to eat at a Waffle House after every show/festival we attend. We've been doing this for about six years now, and there really are few things finer then a loaded hashbrown plate after hearing incredible music.
During Bonnaroo '04, I took off Monday morning and drove for about six hours, finally pulling off at a Waffle House near Knoxville. I went into the place, and literally everyone there had just come from Bonnaroo. It was neat being able to just talk at ease with the people surrounding you at the bar, relating your favorite moments of a music festival some 300 miles away.

Waffle House hash browns are the Food of the Gods... mmmm, greasy....
Finding out about Waffle House (and Lexington BBQ) was the greatest thing we discovered about moving south from NY years ago and I swear to god that sometime in my life, I'm going into one sober and in daylight, too...
I live 4 miles from my work, and on the way to work I past by 2, yes 2 Waffle Houses. I literally have 4 Waffle Houses within a 15 mile radius of my house. AND, they are building number 5!!!
Bacon Egg and Cheese plate with the hashbrowns scattered, smothered, and double-covered and a cup of coffee.
best hashbrowns *EVER*
When I travel north, I constantly get dissappointed that Waffle House doesn't exist up there. It's such good road food.

I've never been to a Waffle House sober, many nights with the "drunkies", and the occasional munchies. Gotta love yelling like an immature ass while recapping the highlights of the party that just got busted up and drinking overpriced coffee topped off with shitty service. FSM bless Waffle House!
I've noticed no one has yet pimped the awesomeness of their waffles. And there's no doubt they are the best anywhere. The Pecan Waffle especially. I mean yeah, their chili cheeseburger and hash browns are darn good, but it's waffle love they're famous for. That and t-bone steaks for some reason... ???
Oddly enough, I guess in Indiana they're called Waffle & Steak. Dunno what that's all about. I guess Waffles aren't enough in Indiana?
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

I just looked at Rand Mcnally and it says 3.3 miles from the Bonnaroo address. I would be willing to walk that far for a Wafflehouse meal, but I wonder what the wait time would be like when I got there. Anyone ever done this during Bonnaroo? How long was the wait? Do they take call in orders? If anyone knows, what's the best time to go to cut down the wait?

Right on! The last time I was at a Waffle House, I had smashed a van into the sign out front at 5AM in Panama City Beach.....PCB can do that to you. Still, I want mine smothered and covered (just not the steering wheel this time). I will let my compadre do the driving to keep the rest of you safe.
We always stop at Sonic on our way to Bonnaroo....there is one in Manchester.....We do not have one here in Pittsburgh, but our TV always has some adds on about them...We stopped last year for the first time...It was all right, but we are going to go back again this year, it is kinda tradition now so.....Sonic here we come
It's a great tradition to stop at Waffle House right after any show. It's a great way to settle down after a great show. Not to mention, there are other fellow concert goers there and it's cool to share in the post-show excitement. The hasbrowns are awesome. Usually...the group I'm with takes over the juke box and we sing throughout our meal.
There is nothing better then sitting in a Waffle House, post-Roo, eating hash browns and listening to Honky Tonk Badonkadonk by Trace Adkins. I mean, life just doesn't get any better.
A fun game for those of you from the North, start coutning waffle houses once you get South of Illinois.
