I had an acquaintance in college who would stay up for days just so he could start hallucinating around the 55-60 hour mark. could be fun eh?
I really did crash after I posted that "ok." I just woke up. See this. Know I made it sooooo close to natural hallucinations and am now very bitter towards Jaz & Dave. YOU JERKS!! TRYING TO LOOK OUT FOR ME AND STUFF!!!

But really though, that sleep was the tits.
Would been even more ta-tas if you made it to the hallucinations.

IME these tend to be less of the "yay, drugs!" hallucinations and more of the paranoid "am I crazy or is it THEM?!" ones.
Around the 48-hour mark, I start to get auditory hallucinations: thinking I'm hearing my thoughts, or just thinking what I'm really saying... that kind of thing. I'll forget what I was doing not five minutes ago, deja vu becomes far more common, and I become much more anxious and irritable. I don't find it pleasant, but maybe I'm just a few hours' shy of nature's free corn trip?
So today I had an 8:00 final exam, a 12:30, and a 2:45...the shitty part about it is I couldn't really do well on any, because I couldn't fully focus on one over the past few days. Just doing average on them though should get me A's/B's in the class, I have had a solid semester. In the middle of my exams, I find out that my boss can't do anything about the parking ticket I received (see previous rant a few pages back from myself). I then get a sweet offer from a buddy who's cousin bought tickets for The Black Keys Friday night but can't go (they're playing in Charlotte, 2 - 2.5 hours away from me) but nobody is going to be in Radford on Friday to go with me because everybody is going home for winter break (I graduate Saturday, which is the only reason I will still be here). I have seen The Black Keys before, and although they didn't blow me away...it was still an opportunity to see a band I enjoy for fairly cheap. About two hours ago I proceed to fire up my laptop to study for my last final which is tomorrow, and my charger just quit working. Had to go Walmart and shell out another $30 because all my notes are on this bad boy. I also haven't smoked in a few days because I have been overwhelmed with schoolwork. Okay, I'm finished.
Hang in there. Graduating on saturday is going to feel so good you're going to forget all about that other shit. And at least your laptop issue is just a charger. My entire hard drive crashed the weekend before finals week... so it could always be worse!!!
CONGRATS on finishing your semester strong though! I'll be getting all B's and C's I think. But with a full time job and 6 classes, I'll take it! WE'RE [almost] DONE!!!

The fact that some form of water has been falling from the sky for the last 2 days and my school refuses to cancel classes because of finals, has me in an incredibly terrible mood.
My half hour commute is now closer to an hour, and most of my finals are only taking about a half hour. The time spent getting there is not worth the time actually spent there.
Can I get a big Fuck You to Adobe and their Cloud Creative Suites. AKA pay $20 a month for the foreseeable for 3 programs I need and like 20 I don't need. And that's the student discount price.

OMG! I am so glad that I bought my CS5.5 3 years ago. Hopefully, I never break my computer cuz I would be screwed. I don't get a student discount and my suite cost me over $1500. The freelance that I do would cover the cost, but why would I want to have a subscription. It is a kick in the nuts to designers and photographers. I agree 100% with you!

Yes exactly, it wasn't that long ago that I bought CS6, but now with a new computer I need a new license.

That is such bullshit. You should be able to re-download, your already paid for programs to the new computer. I hate Adobe and their stupid monopoly on the design market.

Wait a second, you bought a full blown suite of software, and you're not able to reinstall it? I understand not being able to put it on multiple computers at once, but they have software that can prevent that (forcing the program to check in online with the company).
There are multiple expensive suites of software that do something like this. If you reinstall it on a new computer, sometimes you have to call the company to get them to validate your software. But it's definitely possible.
What if your computer crashes? What if you just reformat? I reformat my computer at least once a year just to keep running at peak performance.
That's seriously fucked. That's the sort of thing that would make me pirate the software just to give them a big fuck you.

I think they started this once they went to the cloud. I was able to redownload my programs to a new computer once, and they told me it was a once time thing. That was with the CS3 software. I think it is all some bull.

They give you one backup copy, but since I need to both put it on my new computer and reformat my laptop I need to upgrade.
And adobe is the absolute worst with conflicting versions screwing each other up so I would rather buy the new version and not just in a few months when I wipe my laptop and not have to worry about leaving traces of the old version on my new desktop when I upgrade.
The positive is apparently the cloud based system is very good with switching between computers on a project, which is very useful
Work from 730-1015, mechanical systems final from 1030-1230, finish up presentation 1230-330, energy sciences lab presentations 330-530, give interview for work 6-?
So ontop of not being able to sleep, my kid just rolled his ankle pretty severely and of course he has finals today. Taking day off to drive him to/fro school (we live walking distance he usually rides bike and has half day but I don't want him walking on ankle) and to urgent care. Fantastic.
