That one didn't bother me. I've been to plenty of ampitheatres where there were seats and a pit (with a rail). I was just giving you a hard time. I thought the "but it's probably doesn't" would have clued you in to that.
I got the joke sir, I simply was saying i knew there were no "seats" while still acknowledging your joke. I thought the "hahaha" would have clued YOU in on THAT! haha

(sarcasm)You're such a dikc imarob!(/sarcasm)
That's hilarious! Thankfully someone has a sense of humor. Well played.
I don't believe there are "seats" anywhere. We'll, except on the VIP hill so hope that helps. But it probably doesn't.
hahaha, god forbid I say "seat" instead of "spot", I even said "on the rail" later in the statement, which would not apply to a show that you had "seats" at anyway

How many times have you not heard or read this year is THE MOST stacked Thursday?
I've heard it here and there, and as awesome as Thursday is going to be this year, that doesn't mean we are eventually going to get a Thursday headliner. I also don't take some people's personal tastes who have nothing to do with the planning of Bonnaroo as steps in the direction of a Thursday headliner.
Which is why I led with "in my opinion". Listen, as a "fest" they compete with all others but Coachella and Bonnaroo are two serious contenders. I don't think Bonnaroo is made or built for two weekends like the other. It's already different in the fact there IS a Thursday so how much of a stretch would it be to get another headliner there.
I was hoping to attain my peers opinions on a conflict that I was recently faced with. I am a big Tame Impala fan, a mild Kendrick Lamar fan, also, I'm fairly into Holy Ghost! So I was wondering if anyone had seen any of these artists before because I was hoping that you would be able to tell me your opinion on whether or not it would be worth it to skip Kendrick in an attempt to get a better seat at Tame Impala, I planned on being at the "other tent" the entire day before Holy Ghost! anyway, so I'm sure i could be on the rail by the time Tame Impala came on. So, opinions?

Perhaps I'm a total idiot....but what's the big deal about there being poor ticket sales if there is? I think they make their $$ a gazillion times over...I wouldn't mind a few less people.
Because it's a business. And when you don't make money you cut things out or charge more.
In my opinion they should (and they're making steps in this direction) add a headliner on Thursdays.
Couldn't they just have them at will call? I dunno. Just a theory.
Since when do they have a will call that is not at the radio station?
I don't know. Was just a theory. Like I said in another post they should expand VIP because apparently those sell out and those people MAY just bring more money to spend.
I would enjoy a less crowded Bonnaroo. I don't think it will happen though.
If I was a business man I would look to expand the VIP area and perks. Go with what makes the most money. It also stands to reason those in VIP would spend more.
I have had the most extraordinary experience this morning. I was insulted like never before in my life...but I turned it into a personal and moral victory. Still trying to figure out if I should push the cause further....
here's what happened: I am currently interviewing for jobs. This morning I interviewed with an integrative medicine practice, combining traditional and alternative medicine, incorporating some weight management, aesthetics and management of chronic conditions.
I interviewed with the practice manager, a relatively short man of average looks. He reviewed my CV and seemed to reflect positively upon my experience. Then he made his critical tactical error.
The interviewer told me "here's the biggest stumbling block that I see. You're overweight. I empathize with the struggles people face to lose weight, but we try to project a certain image here...and..."
My blood was boiling, but I tried not to betray it with my expression. I silently got up, said "thank you", then turned around, left the office and the building, and never looked back.
This is about far more than one job and a few extra pounds. This is the same BS that the Abercrombie CEO was laying out recently. I was pissed but I'm REALLY pissed now.
you can have Barbie or an intelligent, competent healthcare professional. Who do you want treating you?
Why would you imply that a "Barbie" (thin, blonde, etc) could NOT be a competent healthcare professional?
Like it or not at least they were honest. I've been rejected for many jobs and never knew why. At least you found out now as opposed to after you were hired.
And like someone else already said: It's THEIR business. Walking out was the first step. Opening up your own clinic and swaying their clients is your real revenge.
I was thinking that it would be Sea Wolf's Stripped Down Acoustic set for the Thursday night VIP party. This is based on absolutely nothing. On their website they said they were playing 2 sets at Bonnaroo and now the second acoustic set that was on there has now disappeared.
True. Their original post sted their show and then one on the Solar Stage. Man, I really hope you're right! Or we're right. Whatever.
Sheesh..... :::putting on my old man pants and grabbing cane::::: That is Chris Hadfield, A Canadian Astronaut, currently living in space aboard ISS as Commander of Expedition 35.
If "the astronaut dude" is cool enough to perform that for mankind the LEAST you could do is learn his name.
In the end I'll just bring as much as I can afford to waste because A. I know I'm too lazy to walk back to camp every time I want a beer (and have a feeling I'll be buying tickets to try some new ones) and B. It being my first time I'm sure I'll buy more souvenirs than I actually need. What can I say? I've been talking about going since my Senior year of college so it's sort of a big deal to be making this trip.
for me its like $150 for gas alone, plus like $500 for the weekend probably. ive spent at least 800 in previous years (although i used to have to support two people, but dont have to anymore!)
Just curious if you'll indulge me: What's the breakdown on spending $500? Is that a ton of t-shirts or is it mostly beer or what?
none, I will earn it all on shakedown street. (kidding) probably around $200 is a safe bet, assuming you bring some food and alcohol with you. it's worth it to pick up food/drinks in centeroo to avoid hiking back to camp, and if you end up in BFE the occasional ride back is also worth it, IMO.
$200 a day? I'm hoping you meant for the entire time or I will be vastly unprepared.
Love ALO. I really wish that Jack Johnson will show up.
I also would like to see this:
A couple of years ago my fiancé and I and I volunteered with "All at Once" (Jack Johnson's environmental campaign). He joined ALO and invited all the kids on stage to dance.
Long way about it. I second the hope that Jack is there also.
Good evening, everyone. I'm "in". Started my payment plan yesterday. Forgive me if I sparsely post as I am focusing on Bonnaroo. But, after that ends I will begin my planning. I'm hoping for a mild Fall in Florida.
Plan on getting phunked! Just a heads up though: most people that attend Bear Creek probably pirate their movies/television so that they can save that money for concert/festival tickets. Please don't give them any grief because they're just trying to maximize the amount of fun in their indigent lives. I, on the other hand, have an extensive blu-ray/dvd/vinyl collection and my home smells of rich mahogany.
Right on. We'll have to meet for a beer and solve the universe's problems or at least point out it's defects.
