Congrats. As I see it, NC is probably the most likely result to predict out of all the remaining states and it's in Obama's favor.
I'm kind of itching to do more campaigning, but I'm under federal restrictions prohibiting that until the last two primaries in June. There's always Novemeber, at least...

With the electoral college, superdelegates, and evidence from the last two elections, isn't voting just a charade to make the masses feel like they have some control? (I always vote, i'm just playing devils advocate to see if anyone else battles thoughts like these like me before going to the polls.)

i feel like that sometimes. especially because of the last election. gore wins the popular vote, so you'd expect him to win because obviously the majority of voters wanted him. but no, we get stuck with bush, again.

even so, i just turned in my voters registration.
Gore was the election before last, Kerry was the last to be cheated out of the election, with the help of black box voting machines courtesy of Diebold.

whoops. that's what i get for not paying attention to politics before i hit voting age
We were hoping to be voting in the Indiana primary but our citizenship processing is going so ssssssslllllloooooowwwwww that we might be lucky even to be voting in November. I have my interview May 8th but Mrs. Mac hasn't even been called yet.

So here is the thread I lost. Catching up on karma from weeks ago. Karma for registering, voting, voting in flip flops (my favorite shoes!) all on the way.

Have you called the Senator or House member of your state to ask about this? Casework like this is a big part of what their offices do. I intern at a Senate office and that stuff is the domain of about half the people who work there.
Better yet, have one of their actual constituents call on your behalf. That might work even faster.
Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream
I would also like to ask people to get out and vote. My spent 4 yrs in the military, my brother has been to Iraq, my dad was in Vietnam, my father-in-law was in Korea, and my grandfather was WWI. We all did these things so that we would remain a free country and always have the right to vote. I voted in the Primary and I was originally for Mike Huckaby. But, I knew he had no chance so I went for Ron Paul. Ron spoke for all the things I believe in. Bottom line: No matter your political affliation, get your butt out there and vote. Apathy kills. A few more things. If you can read this: thank a teacher. If you can vote and worship freely: thank a veteran. God bless America and her citizens.
