YAY! I landed a spring semester internship in Sen. Russ Feingold's office!
Yay! Are you coming to DC?
That answer depends on the timeframe in which I must answer.
My internship is during spring semester - start Wednesday, through mid-May - at a state office in his hometown, Middleton WI. The internship is not bringing me to DC - I'm in Madison through the end of July, after I've graduated and my lease has expired. So in the short term, I am not coming to DC.
DC is way up on the list of post-graduation possibilities, though. My girlfriend & I definitely want to get out of Wisconsin. She works in healthcare and says that makes her employable just about anywhere, so it's largely dependent on me and wherever my BA in Political Science leads. I've got a couple friends already out there, including an old high school friend who does work in Feingold's federal office. So in the medium term... maybe?

^^ yay!
once u own a stick for a little while u will never wanna go back! It saves on gas and gives u so much more control of the car... it's too bad u can't find a lot of newer manual cars. now a days it's all about the luxuries or driving.

I quit my job today. While it's scary because we already are in some financially hard times and I don't yet have anything else lined up, it needed to be done and was a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time coming. It felt so good to write the resignation letter and outline all my continuous problems with the job. I may have dangerously low income right now, but I feel so free!!
