Also found 2 free tickets to the Moody Blues concert in a TPAC sponsored "treasure hunt" on Facebook. Found them at BB King's Club this morning. A friend of mine is a huge fan and has never seen them and has been hinting heavily for these as a birthday present. They were too expensive to buy but at FREE, the price is just right.
Also found a charitable organization to spay my new puppy. Saves $200 which I can donate to this group so maybe some poor people can get their dogs fixed for free.

YAYYYYYYYY for summer!!!! what was originally looking like a quite gloomy summer has been turned into what is sure to be one big ball of insanity. the good kind, of course!! eeeee so excited!!!
Yay! What I deem Library Victories occur few and far between so getting a certain sex offender barred from all branches in the system today is a huge win! We work on a "three strikes and you're out" system on viewing pornography on the internet with a specific description of what does and does not constitue as porn....you know, the library is very anti-censorship so what one deems pornographic is not necessarily what the library has written in their porn policy.
This guy was a super creep but there was always confusion whether what he was viewing could be considered pornographic in library terms....his sex offender status also came into play along with his inappropraite behavior towards staff.

it is actually pretty warm today. 74 is the high here in the B'ham area... which is AWESOME!
also... I have a paper that's due this Wednesday, and we were just given the assignment today... buttt... we get to work on it as a group. (3 ppl per group) that is my main YAY for the day. takes a lot of stress off of me since I have several tests also due that day.

I just got the OFFICIAL word that my job is letting me take over the south west territory and I can now move to Texas. Eff you NY. I'm gonna save some money! I'm also going to buy some cowboy boots and a big stetson hat, put spurs on my sneakers and get a side job as a live stock auctioneer. Us NYers talk fast.

That's hilarious. I have a southern accent and I had a patient the other day who said, "Son you're gonna have to slow down, you talk like a damn yankee" I had to leave the room because I was laughing so hard.

my tax return was $1300!!! wahooooo. the majority of it is going to my mother, whom i owe a few thousand dollars, but that makes it that much closer to me paying her back.

Near Austin. Buda, San Marcus, Kyle something like that. I don't want to live right in the city. I have to choose if I live closer to the lake or the airport.

My tax return was next to nothing this year even though I got to claim my son. I actually was going to have to pay federal. But my accountant found me an extra $1900. I love that man. It's def worth paying him $100. Now I can pay off my newest camera lens.

fish, I have d300 and a 24-70 f2.8. I guess I got the lens for around 1400 but i got a grip and a few other extras......and yes I am jealous of your job and gear

Yay! I just realized that I am not out of town on business this weekend. I thought for sure that I was, and I have been almost every weekend lately. This also means that I'm not behind on work. I'm right on schedule. I can actually clean my house this week.
just gave notice today for my job....have a great position that I'll do 3 days orientation for starting 6/7/10...then 5 days off for Roo/Roo Recovery! SWEET!
PLUS I got a new kitten over the weekend from a humane society near me...he is SO sweet!
AND its St. Paddy's day, in case anyone forgot....
