YaY my roommate told Paula Dean (the woman that cooks on tv) that she was a northerner in disguise and not a real southerner because she pronounced "pecan" as Pee-can. Ahh...laughing at him is satisfying ;D

I live in the middle of a pecan orchard on a farm with about 2500 pecan trees on it. It is PEE-can, not piCon.
thats what my friend from georgia told me when i told her. i really don't care how its pronounced, and i'm going to continue saying piCon, but i found it hilarious that he accused her of being and impostor because of how she pronounced a word lol.

YAY - my mom took me shopping today for my brithday! I got $350 worth of clothes for $86 bucks!!!! I love a good bargain. I got two whole outfits (skirts and tops), 2 shirts and a new hoodie

yeah, i'd never shopped at one before, and the sizes are a lot different, and some things will run smaller than others. i don't think i'd order online even knowing my sizes now. i hate being disappointed and having to go through the process of returning it snail mail style
YAY! I'm the new Vice President of the Student Nurse Association! I feel like the prom queen! I never would have thought that I had a chance at winning a popularity contest, but people like me and they voted for me. I'll get to go to a conference, be a CPR trainer, and help make decisions about semi-important stuff.
