so funny, this season and last season my least favorite final collection won!
In this order:
last year i liked uli, michael, jeffrey
this year: rami, jillian, christian
maybe i just don't GET IT
also, this year's celebrity judge seemed to have a HUGE influence, no?
it's cool though, christian is 500x more talented than jeffrey. i hope we see rami's clothes in stores someday, i loved his cocktail dresses the most. and i loved his colors, too. if anything i found christian's ALL black and then cream and brown to be pretty bleh.
I'm most bummed out that this season is over though, it'll be sooooooooooooooo long before the next one
wow...last week i thought chris' collection blew rami's out of the water and was so surprised they picked him...this week i thought rami's was absolutely BORING...no creativity...a bunch of ugly dresses...christians was amazing...right up there with the creativity chris had in his collection...i do agree rami is talented tho...and i do realize that i have a pretty eccentric taste in fashion but im shocked at how many people thought ramis collection was the best...

I think that reality shows (paticularly dealing with fashion)sometimes they actually pick the "runner up" as the winner so that the best contestant is not restricted to a project runway contract. That is definately how I felt about both uli and michael last season.
I don't know about that this season though....Christian was definately the fan favorite and they gotta keep up the ratings. I thought all of last night's collections were fabulous. And I believe Victoria Beckham was a major influence in the judging and she kept praising Christian althought the dress she was wearing looked like something Rami designed. But she is sexy so she can say what she wants
IThat is definately how I felt about both uli and michael last season.
uli + michael weren't the best in the finale. everything uli made she had done before and michael had no idea what he was doing on his own. i will say that during the season he was the best.

I have a friend who lives in LA so ya know, he sees famous people all day, every day and he was at some event or something and he was seated at a table next to christian... he was super excited.

Just an FYI
Project Runway moves to Lifetime 'Project Runway' heads to Lifetime
By MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
Lifetime has its designs on "Project Runway." The hit reality skein will hop from Bravo to Lifetime effective this fall. In a stunning network hop, "Project Runway" producer The Weinstein Co. has signed a five-year deal with Lifetime to move the show - cable's top-rated reality skein - to the femme-centric cabler. Show's sixth season will premiere on Lifetime in November.
The move has prompted Bravo owner NBC to file suit in New York Supreme Court against the Weinstein Co.
"We believe that this lawsuit is without merit," said Weinstein counsel David Boies. "While good for the market for lawyers, it is always unfortunate when parties try to win in court what they have lost in the marketplace."
The show's defection to Lifetime was announced Monday by Lifetime prexy/CEO Andrea Wong and Weinstein Co. co-charimen Harvey and Bob Weinstein.
"'Project Runway' is one of the best television programs on the air today on broadcast or cable," Wong said. "I am a huge fan. All my friends are huge fans. Having watercooler movies, dramas, and reality shows like 'Project Runway' is what Lifetime Television is all about. We welcome The Weinstein Company, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn to the Lifetime family for many walks down the runway to come."
In a statement, the Weinsteins thanked NBC and Bravo for helping nurture the show into a hit, but said "having Lifetime's unique cable reach will ensure that the show will continue to grow and expand in the years to come."
"Lifetime is one of the strongest cable networks in the industry, with great leadership and a true commitment to original programming," the Weinsteins said. "We are very excited for the many new opportunities that will now be provided to 'Runway' and its fans and look forward to premiering the sixth season in November 2008."
