Would have loved to have join this league, but no spots left makes rarelyheard a dull boy! Anyways, good luck to the participants and if anyone needs to drop out or if you guys up the maximum number of teams in the league I'm just a PM away.

Also, a suggestion is to hold the draft in here in a separate thread. Determine your draft order and then set a time limit on picks. People may think that they will miss their picks because they will be away from the Net for awhile, but that is easily combatted by sending the commissioner or someone who is frequently online a ranked list of your prospective picks for the next few rounds along with some instructions.
(Example if you already have 2 3B players, but the next player on your list is another 3B because all of the picks you had ahead of him were taken before your selection then you could tell them that if he is the first person on your list to go ahead and take a different position.)

There should be an option to Remove Team on your Fantasy Sports home page once you login. And if it's cool with everyone I'd love to take the open spot.

Ive actually done that on another board before, and the end result is pretty disastrous, honestly.
Too bad I didnt get in this league. I would have show'd you folks how to play some fantasy ball.
I guess theres always the NCAA Tourney pickem, right?
Not if the person in charge of the draft keeps everyone in line and notifies them when their picks are coming up and whatnot. You give a person time to come in and make their own selection, but if they don't respond by the deadline then the commish results to their list of players that they PM.
I've done this for four years in a keeper football league and once in a fantasy baseball league on rottentomatoes.com it's really not hard to do that at all.

Go to the "League Overview" page: baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/9925 Then the third bullet point under league notes has a link to delete your team to leave the league. I guess let rarelyheard know once you've done that.
Well, normally I'd pick myself to win, but as I was absent from the draft I still have a little work to do to pick my roster up to standard (I mean, Russell Martin in the third round?)
So my preseason pick for top teams are the Ballwreckers and Paranoid Androids.
However, I'm sure by midseason my team will be in championship form to take them down!
beware the trolls from central parks. hah. seriously i really like my team. i dont know how i managed to get the #1 pick again. must be lucky. it's good but at the same point kinda tricky with the extra people. couple times the player i was going to take got taken one pick prior a la cano. anyhow good luck to everyone once the season eventually gets going in 3 weeks.
i cant wait for the last opening day at the stadium on monday. its gonna be wierd having a new stadium but the place was rennovated in the 70s and we deserve a state of the art stadium. dont forget about tommorow night and the nats showing off their state of the art green stadium.
At long last, it's here. I'm gonna be glued to the xm all day - I'm excited especially for this Zambrano/Sheets matchup as well as Oswalt/Peavy tonight.
