a snippet about hoodoo...he may have turned me onto inforoo, but i was the one who got him to go to bonnaroo in 05! i went in 04 with a bunch of my friends from college. that year was certainly a blur. but he was naturally the person that would share the same passion for it i would. so alas HoodooOperator.

happy belated valentines inforoosters!! i have to tell you guys about the awesome thing my boyfriend did for me yesterday...
i wasn't expecting anything, we had just planned on a quiet night at home. i was at work yesterday at about 12:30, working hard on building some furniture (i work at IKEA, and i put furniture together a lot of the time) and then i looked up and there he was with a huge bouquet of flowers! it was close to my lunchtime, so we went and had some lunch together.
so when i looked at the card and it had GPS coordinates and a time on it. (we love to go geocaching...where you type in coords and go to the location, then find a prize, etc.) so when 7:30 rolled around, i left to track down the valentine's geocache, which was at a really nice restaurant where we proceeded to have wine, good food and lots of chocolate for dessert. it was the sweetest thing (if slightly nerdy) that anyone has ever done for me! i was walking on a cloud all day yesterday...
guys, feel free to steal that for your girlfriends next year he got a really good reward for being such a thoughtful boyfriend!!

Aww - don't get me wrong Boz can be sweet and romantic if he wants to be - but after being married for 5 years, having 3 kids at home and both of us working our asses off - we are just too tired to even try to plan anything like that

yeah, i know what you mean. nic is my first boyfriend after my divorce (i was married for 3 1/2 years to my ex.) i think it makes it that much more special, because the closest thing to a valentine's day gift i got from my ex was a bottle of wine that he drank by himself before i had a chance to drink a glass...sad but true.....
and by no means am i intending to gloat or anything...i just had to share our fun night w/ everyone! i hope everyone else had a fab valentine's.

oh you are not gloating - I think it is awesomely sweet that a guy would go to so much trouble - I hope he continues to surprise you with things like that
