awww slorch, you didn't miss much. I kept leaving to look at the lunar eclipse and would come back and not even remember what I was watching.
The only performance I completely missed was the girl with the suspenders. I heard the judges tell her she was awesome... was she?
I can't remember anyone at all - the super cute girl with the puffed hair and scarves...Syesha. I think I am having a girl crush on her , but HATED how she acted off the stage - too actressy, all kneeling on the couch in spiky heels and being overly dramatic/cute.
I am so glad they admitted the first girl was so sick she could barely walk... if not I would have wondered if she was a zombie or on dome weird medication.
I love the rocker chick, but I want to give her a makeover and take those middle-parted platinum bangs and get rid of them. They annoy the heck out of me.
And there was some other pretentious girl... was it Alexandrea? She reminded me of my old intern. Spoiled, probably an only child with a mother who lives vicariously through her. Grew up in a tightly knit community, be it a school for performing arts, a church, something where she was always the little darling. Great grades, pretty and way too full of herself. First impression is great - she's smart and talented and cute. Then you get to know her and you want to slap her silly and let her know yes she's cute and smart and has some talented, but she ain't God's gift to... well anything.
Too harsh? I always feel guilty when I attack people like that. But she gave me a bad vibe after her performance during the judges/Ryan banter.
And did they all get free shoes from some company last night? I remember last year they were all sporting the same type of tee shirts. I get lots of PR emails for my blogs and know that last year a plus-sized clothing brand supplied all the dresses for a few of the larger girls to get the word out....
And did anyone else notice Ryan feeling up the chick in yellow? He grabbed and patted her knee in the Coca Cola room and my husband swears he slapped her ass on stage (I think it was her lower back... but still)
I look forward to Ramiele's next performance (the teeny tiny girl). I think she will progressively get better and impress.
And I just spent 30 minutes on the AI website. WTF?!?!?!?!

hmm alexandrea is the girl with the suspenders so maybe you mean someone else. and yeah, she was pretty good, not outstan ding though. her dancing and mannerisms reminded me alot of martha from season 2 so you think you can ance, if you watched that. I like amanda alot too (rocker chick) but her hair is annoying and I think simon is right saying she might be a one-trick pony. I would give my opinion on all but i dont want to ramble haha (i have sang my whole life and entered college as a voice major so i get pretty technical)

Didn't see the first half, but after seeing the recap i think Danny Noriega was probably the worst. The hippie guy wasn't that great either, especially when a lot of others were so strong.

I thought Danny was good. I looove Jason, but his vocals werent great tonight. I think Jason Yeager and Luke will go home because theyre kind of forgettable or maybe David Cook because people just don't like him.

i'm sorry, but i HATED that young kid's rendition of Imagine. his vocals are good, but i don't think they stand out from any other young pop star out there right now. and i thought the arrangement was horrid.
not to mention his whole modest, i'm nervous, i have no self-esteem routine is playyyyyyyyyed out
