I know that everyone loves a Guinness. With St. Patty's day coming up soon, and my love of beer running strong, Feel free to share your personal favorite stories about Guinness!
mine: i was sipping a late night guinness, in the kitchen, eating coffee ice cream. i thought... hmm this would make a delicious combination, so i ate a bite of ice cream and sipped some guinness, and lo and behold, it was amazing!
so when my glass was down to about 4 oz. of delectable brew remaining, i put a big scoop of ice cream into it, and had a guinness float!
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

when i was married and 20 years old, i traveled to pennsylvania to meet/visit my husband's family (grandparents, uncles, aunts) for the first time. we stayed with his fraternal grandparents who, much to my delight, were beer drinkers. each day at 12 noon sharp i opened a guinness, and kept on til evening. i was there two weeks. i gained probably 10 pounds, lol.

Whenever we'd fly to/from from Saudi we'd end up going through Heathrow Airport. In the international terminal there is a pub called Garfield's that has Guinness on tap. No matter what tiem of day I'd be transiting I'd always stop in to get a pint. Depending on the direction of travel it was either my first taster of freedom or the last drink for the condemned man.
For those of you that don't know, alcohol is illegal in Saudi, but we did make homebrew.... really nasty homebrew.
