This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

when people want to sing a song... but don't know the words. so, they hum the words they don't know so it is known that they at least know the tune. and then sing every 6th word or whatever they know.
please don't hum the song... you're ruining my listening pleasure.
I have another one... when people think they deserve a longer break than everyone else gets and they take it, even when they are told not to.
And when people who are supposed to be working in patient care areas spend their entire shift on a cell phone while holding a sheet of paper over their ear and mouth. Do I look stupid? I know you have a cell phone under there and so does everybody else.
haha, my family does the extra R thing too. Are you from Belleville? Some of my family is from there and I'm heading to a wedding there in Oct. and my first college roommate was from there too.
Sorry for the multiple posts, I just went back and read the thread. Yes, I am from Belleville. I have a love/hate relationship with it.
BTW, the winner of the Westminster Kennel Club best in show is a beagle from Belleville.
And here's another thing that grinds my gears... This forecast ----> Changing weather scene: Sunny, 60 today; storms, 70 Sunday; snow, 30s Monday

what grinds my gears is when I wake up half asleep in the mornings and make my way into the bathroom, and I fall into it when I sit down, because somebody forgot to close the lid.

ugh. i hate that too. and when people say "let me put it this way" and then just basically repeat everything they just said. dude, i understood you the first time!
this may be mean, but its the way i feel, and seeing as how i work for a doctor, i see it ALL THE TIME...mothers that are on medicaid (government assistance to help mothers who CANT AFFORD TO TAKE THEIR KIDS TO THE DOCTOR/DENTIST), and insist on buying coach/dooney purses, 26'' rims/wheels, and must have expensive jordan shoes for their kids (including babies)...or the mothers that are on medicaid and have like six kids and are still popping them out...im all for having babies, but if you cant afford one or two you most certainly dont need to be having five plus kids...sorry about that little rant, but it just what i observe everyday
im not trying to hate...im just sayin if you are going to ask for assistance from our government, dont be buying luxuries that could be used for more necessary purchases

I don't see that as mean at all - pisses me off also. People on WIC, Medicaid and food stamps yet the own horses and can afford the feed and vet bills for them - that really grinds my gears

That's true but Consumer Culture is bad for the entire world.

Not pleasant.
I'm really not trying to come off as a jerk here.. but this came up all the time at the last co-ed house I lived in... just look at the toilet, if the seat is up and you need it to be down, or the seat is down and you need it to be up, change it?
In one house, there were two bedrooms on one floor. We removed the toilet seat from one, and glued it down in the other... that shouldn't be needed, but it solved a lot of arguments.

I don't know... seat up, seat sown... I've personally really never seen the need for the toilet insides to be exposed at all when not in use, why not just keep the inside of the bowl covered by the cover at all other times, it's not like its pretty in there or anything, something to put on display ???
We had a girl at one place though who would go on a bitching rampage throughout the house about the seat being up instead of just... pushing it ever so slightly to it'd fall down, and doing her biz...

And if it IS a touching issue... well, ^^^ much less effort to let it fall down than to pick it up... and I KNOW the girls must appreciate when a guy goes through the effort to do that so as to not miss and hit the seat... correct?

i completely agree
welfare wasn't even meant to be a permanent fixture of our society. it was meant to help us out of the depression. now, i truly believe that some people need the assistance, and do what they can for themselves and their family to keep food on the table and clothes on their backs. but there needs to be some major reform, and some incentive for those who abuse the system to get off their butts and use a condom once in a while
Wooz, have you seen the movie "He Died With a Felafel in His Hand" ? It's about an australian guy and these different houses that he lives in, with all sorts of roommates. Your story about the toilet seat reminded me of it.

agreed...some do really need the assistance, but many take advantage of it...and get this, i work with girls that are on it, and they have told me that the medicaid office threatens to take it if they work...its like the offices, instead of pushing for people to better themselves and get out of a rut, actually want these people to be dependent all their lives..."if you dont work, we'll let you have medicaid, but if you pick up a job you will be on your own"...how f*cked up is that
We're trying to get my pops, who is a quadriplegic, on medicaid so he can come live at home. There is no way my family can afford to pay for caregivers, but he wants to come home more than anything after being in hospitals and nursing homes since the start of August..
Besides being paralyzed from the chest down, he is perfectly able and willing to work, and he WANTS to work. He used to run his own business doing biz2biz marketing, and he would like to try doing it again... He would only be able to work a few hours a week, 10 at most, and he wouldnt make much at it.. it would improve his spirits being able to contribute even a little bit, but yeah, medicaid would go pooft and he wouldnt have caregivers if he worked. :/

It grinds my gears when I get thru taking a leak, look down, and see the seat and cover are down, my pants are soaked, and I'm standing in a puddle. ???

i'm sorry your dad is in such a bad position. this is exactly why healthcare reform should be the number one social issue on every candidate's agenda.
