WHAT REALLY GRINDS MY GEARS when my absentee father decides to call and check on family or comes into town says he is coming by to visit and then decides to go to the bar to hang out or says he's coming by and then goes and spends time and money on other non blood related grandkids and backs out from coming to see only blood related grandchild.
is this another episode that is more recent or is this still stemming from the last time?
^^^^as a mother of a 14 year old - I can tell you that is exactly what it all about - I swear - the child texts so much I am surprised that her thumbs are not flat

you know what grinds my gears? people who are fake nice. i'd rather you just ignore me or tell me you don't like me than making things awkward by forcing the niceness.

Urgh. The fact that the guys i'm moving in with this summer didn't listen to me really grinds my gears. The amazing house we wanted got rented out already cause they didn't want to put a downpayment.
people who park in handicapped spots when they dont have a tag, or it is obvious that nothing is wrong with them grinds my gears
uhhh - I have a handicapped tag and it is not always obvious that I have problems walking or can't walk long distances - some days are better then others

my mom goes through the same thing. she'll be having knee replacement surgery sometime in the next couple of years. she's gotten those cortizone injections, but they only help for a little bit. its pretty painful for her...stairs especially.
