anndd the superslackers ive seen in action.. .
- have done DISHES at the buttcrack of dawn- -fix OTHER peoples canopies -find other ppl things that we dont discuss on this board- -are ready on time / before the shows actually start-
so the more i think of 'team superslackers' the more i think that they are fooling us all and are actually 'team fucking awesome and on top of there shit'

Ultra is 9 days away. I am SUPER SUPER EXCITED!
But I feel so unorganized. If Bonnaroo was 9 days away, I'd know where I was going, what I was doing, what I was packing, my groceries would be bought, I'd know whose car we were driving and what time we were leaving, etc. etc. etc. I NEED TO BE PREPARED! I'm one of these people that needs a plan.
so the more i think of 'team superslackers' the more i think that they are fooling us all and are actually 'team quacking awesome and on top of there shit'

oh and see underworld.
Haha, don't worry, I plan on it!!! I was listening to them today at work and thinking about how ready I am to be there.
Chef- any advice as to how to get from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami? We're flying into Ft. Lauderdale because it's cheaper that way...so we'd prefer the cheapest option to get to Miami too, haha. Once we get to Miami, we're walking from the hotel to the festival, so no worries there. Also, as far as afterparties go - how dressy are the Miami clubs? Should I bring like dresses or will what I wear to the festival be okay? And should we take a taxi is the public transportation okay to use?
Excuse all the questions. Like I said, I just feel so unprepared! It's going to be a hell of a time though...can't wait to see Tiesto, Justice, MSTRKRFT, Underworld...etc, etc, etc
Taxis are probably the best way to get around at night. Miami has som REAL sketchy neighborhoods. I've only taken public transit a couple of times, during the day. I had a car, so I usually just drove everywhere.
The club scene in Miami is fairly upscale. For the most part everyone is dressed to impress.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Apparently, I have lost my school ID card.
This means I have to pay $15 to get a new one, and in the meantime I also have to pay cash for meals on campus, and I cannot print any documents on a campus printer.
And I have no idea how on earth I lost my card in the first place... Eff that.

uh, i'm pretty sure i just got hit on by the girl in the drive-thru window. she kept asking me what it was like to kiss with my lip ring, and if it was good...haha
i think i may have farked up - since i never research montreal "coffeeshops" or if they exist. i think they do in some places in canada, but im not sure.
montreal is pretty awesome though. this hotel is about 2.5 hours NE of montreal... not far from Quebec City.
On my senior trip in high school, we went to Toronto for a chorus competition, and a few friends (some soon-to-be rooers) just walked around town, burning corn on the streets. It was i April, and the weather was very nice.

Thanks chef, major karma! I didn't even know about the tri-rail system so that saves us a TON of money. We were going to rent a car! All the other advice is good too.
I don't think there are "coffeeshops" in Montreal. There are in British Columbia. But in Montreal you can walk down the street enjoying a piece of corn with no problem.
Bamadancer- glad to help. Best not to rent a car. Parking in Miami could end up costing you more than the car.
