Random question:

Has anyone seen this movie that I'm watching, right now? It's a movie from the mid 80s by Mark Romaneck, the director of One Hour Photo and a bunch of NIN videos, called "Static"? It's got Keith Gordon ("Christine" and "Legend of Billie Jean") and Amanda Plummer (the British woman at the beginning/end of Pulp Fiction).

It's about this guy who works at a diner, gets fired, and finishes an invention he's been working on for 2 years. That's all I can really say without giving away the story.

This is a really... different movie... and I'm liking it.

I don't know if Netflix would carry it, but seriously, if you're into kind of odd, mid 80s indie flicks, then check out "Static."

Seriously, I really, really liked this movie... it's no Citizen Kane or anything, but it's pretty damned interesting and funny.

If you decide to check it out, DO NOT LOOK AT THE PLOT SUMMARY. It gives it all away.
