I've never been any further west than bonnaroo, and just moved pretty much as far away from cali as possible, I can't even imagine what it is like there.

honestly, its only as plastic as you let it be, it is actually pretty beautiful here, not the "concrete jungle" that it gets made out to be.
edit: the beach in Malibu is breathtaking, the scenery is awesome.
The farthest west I've been was when I flew to Las Vegas in 2005 with my family. I've wanted to go to, specifically, Texas and Cali so badly... May make those trips some year for ACL(I really wanna go, but I'll wait and see how the line up is) or Coachella (not this year, though.)

A friend of mine know people who know people, and I will be getting free VIP Coachella tickets for next year, I cannot wait

I lied, i've been to texas. I don't know why, but i've never really been interested in California's big citys, I think if i would want to move there it'd be northern. I still have enough to pillage on the east coast for now though.

So I dont watch that show, but apparently during the opening of the show, they show the sign for Sunset Plaza, my apartment is like 200 feet from that sign, neato.
Right now on the Hallmark channel, there's an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger centered around the Special Olympics starring Gary Busey...I'm probably going to hell after I watch this.

Oh my god, that is my favorite episode of that show ever... I remember hanging with some buds in high school getting retarded like kids do, and we watched that whole episode.... laughing our asses off! Karma for the reminder.... it's perfect in so many ways.

that sounds to good to be real! i need to see this.
I hate when a group of drunk people decide to debate about politics. Its never fun. I had the privilege of sitting through that until 4 a.m. last night.
I love that Chuck Norris performs the theme song...
Walker makes me nostalgic. Growing up, my parents and I would watch Walker (and Diagnosis Murder) so we could make fun of the shows. Walker also had the bonus of being shot in Dallas and occasionally featuring people we knew.
Little known fact: Paul Haggis helped create the show.
On the note of that: I find it amazing that a movie about Hunter Thompson, starring Bill Murray, with music by Neil Young could blow soooo hard. "Where The Buffalo Roam" is unjustifiably bad. I'm no fan of "Fear and Loathing", but that movie tramples "Where The Buffalo Roam" in the dirt.
yo Bama, is there anyone in particular you want pics/video of at that Morello show?
Well...Tommy OF COURSE! ;D
And Flea would be AWESOME too...! Love him...he's just so hysterical! And talented...Perry is cool...Slash....just whatever you think is cool HooDoo...you have MUY COOL taste...Get as much Tom as you can and then I will leave it in you MORE than capable hands! ;D And major karma soon as I can....you are SUCH a sweetie to do this!! Means more than you know....
