itrainmonkeys okay so I tried to refresh it a few times, visit other pages and there were a few errors but most of 'em ended with .jpg so I assume they're just images that failed to load? Which is probably not a big or the problem. Also that .js you were talking about, that I needed to check was on every page I refreshed so yeah.. Idk :/
ok are y'all ready for a very specific and exceedingly unimportant complaint?
often when wanting to quickly get to the bottom of a thread page, or any other page on inforoo, i hit the "end" button on my keyboard. then i use my trackpad or mouse wheel to scroll up to the last post on the page. but what happens when i do this is my cursor gets stuck in the "shout box" and starts scrolling through the "shout box" instead. so i have to stop scrolling and move my cursor about the "shout box" to continue scrolling up.
does anyone else have this issue? would anyone be upset if the shout box went away?

Someone else asked if you could try another browser. I said Explorer works fine. They asked if you could also try in Chrome but in Incognito mode and see if the problems are still there.

I’ve been getting notifications whenever someone posts in Now Playing since yesterday.
Do you have it bookmarked by accident?
I’ve had it bookmarked for awhile even though I don’t currently utilize bookmarks on the board. Like LD said, I just started receiving notifications whenever someone posts there.
I went on proboards. They made some changes yesterday.
I'm guessing these are bookmark notifications. A change was implemented yesterday that integrated bookmark notifications into the Profile notifications.
Changing Bookmark Notifications
Our work on v6 has seen a lot of focus placed onto streamlining of both our code and feature functionality. We took a look at how the bookmarks work, and how you are informed of any changes to those threads you decided to mark as important. In ProBoards v5, you receive an extra menu item (“Bookmarks”) when you bookmark a thread. This navigation item can also have a notification bubble indicating that one or more bookmarked threads have been updated. This notification is entirely separate from your other forum notifications. This leads to either the menu item being completely ignored, the notification ignored, or simply the under-utilization of the bookmark feature on forums. To fix this, we are merging bookmark notifications into the primary Profile Notifications bubble that most users commonly interact with.
It’s probably something that can be fixed when itrainmonkeys comes along. He knows code. I do not. I just play piano in a whorehouse for a living.
It's not the end of the world. I can just save links in my messages if it gets too annoying.
Of course none of the this would be an issue if Proboards could make it so their Search function was accurate...
cdevaney I believe you can just turn off notifications for bookmarked threads. If you go to Edit Profile -> Notifications you can just uncheck the box. You'll still keep it bookmarked but not get a notification bubble when it's posted in.
Are others still getting notifications for things they don't want? Let me know what specifically.
so it looks like spotify embedded links don't work anymore. The inforoo playlist thread is a dead zone. none of the old playlist links are showing up.
snowman - Looks like SPotify changed up it's URL structure or something. Proboards is on it:
It does look like the format of the URL/URI have changed. I've labelled this for the devs who will hopefully take a look and update the embed coding, if possible.
This has been added to our bug tracker. This should be a minor change so hopefully we can push it out soon.

Cool cool. I can't update all the formatting, just need to know how. I assumed it was a Spotify thing, they've changed up their playlist url/uri protocols a few times
