Do you mean that each page has more threads on them now. We increased the amount of threads that are shown on each page, due to increasing traffic, and so some of the older threads don't die as quickly, by going to another page.
No I mean the actual thread changing in page number. I mean I could be tripping out but I swear many of them have changed. If not in number then in the number of posts on the page in the thread.
I noticed that too. Like when you were reading a post earlier and your post was at the top of page two, then you came back later and your post was in page one????? In a specific thread is what I mean.

Damn, I swear, sometimes I even confuse myself!
Someone could delete or shorten a comment and yours would move up. Or change their Avatar to something smaller.
